They work as intended. I’ve had them installed outdoors for approximately 60 days, with no issues.

Ok, So the Silicone skin fits nice and snug on the XT camera. No doubt it will not fall out. The gripe with the skin is where the nut connects to the arm. This is also a bit flimsy, not like waving in the wind but they could have added some plastic frame inside to make that a bit sturdier. The part I like is the back where you can add a power plug to the camera. The silicone is loose enough that a regular micro USB cable end fits and a 90 degree adapter is not needed but it would make it more flush.Now the mount. I wasn't sure how the wing nut worked until I received it. I will try to describe it as best as possible. The wing nut is tightened and that locks in place the ball joint down. The issue is that you have to hold the camera in place, while holding the ball joint in place as you tighten the wing nut. Yeah you will need 3 hands to get this dialed in to perfection. I'm not saying it can not be done with 2 hands it can but it is very frustrating when you want the camera in a very specific angle. So do this when you are in a good mood. BTW, The silicone cover brace mentioned before would come in handy during this part.The arm, joint, and wing nut are all metal. The cover is basically 100 silicone except for the small screw nut in the back where it attaches to the ball joint.I still recommend it and gave it 4 stars!

These worked perfectly for our cameras!

Before investing in the Blink system, I did research for quiet sometime, ultimately leading to the purchase. This is a good start-up system with no hassle or wires/electric connections, etc. You have the option to purchase a Solar panel for continued power if the 2 year battery life is less appealing.Good connectivity, clear images, and certainly easy to install

Its very difficult to keep the camera adjustment because it swivels when you tighten the base wingnut @ 90+- degrees. Also the plastic nut to lock the camera onto the base is cheap and doesn't work very well.

They seem like good quality for weather protection and were not difficult to mount except that I have had difficulty tightening the screws enough to keep the camera from rotating.

These are great for using these camras with solar panels on top of the roof so you don't have to replace batterys or using wires. I find these camras great and fixers really good for positioning them to a direction but also out far from the wall to kind of increese the area so your not seeing wall
