I can't be more satisfied with these little amateur radios. They are nicely built perfectly fit my hands, I like them much more than the big ones that installed in the car because they have way wider range of use.Apart from the basic two-way radio function, they have so many extra features such as the FM radio reception, the dual display LCD screen, and the numeral keypad etc., letting you be able to program the radio w/o a computer, they are capable of VHF and UHF frequencies which means FRS GMRS MURS frequencies are all covered!Considering its unbeatable price and so many features in one radio, I will definitely recommend it.

I am pretty interested in the dual band capability, this provides me with a wider range of use, as VHF travels farther in open fields while UHF has better performance when in built-up areas. The original antenna is good for typical use, reached about 3 miles in flat land, I replace it with a Nagoya NA771 antenna which extends the range to about 5 miles, I use them for keeping connected with my friends when we go hunting, the battery can last a whole day which is good enough, it's rugged and ultra-portable, especially it has lots of features, plenty of channel memory, also comes with necessary accessories. I gave my first try for an acoustic tube earpiece from this product and it works very well on it, it feels better than typical earpiece and provides better noise isolating as it is in-ear design.

I just started using the devices, so I can't give a full review. I like what see so far, and happy with the performance! The battery life is better than what I've used in other products, and the sound is very good. I haven't gotten into distance yet to see the range of the units, but they are good for now. I need to review at a later date after I use them more, but I like what I see!

I definately liked the compact size of the radio, the dual band functionality is nice. Easy to use. Easy to program. Fantastic for airsoft. Only needs a longer antenna for increased reception.

A very handy dual band walkie at a fraction of price of similar handheld radios. These radios support both 136~174 MHz and 400~470MHz, making them capable of a variety of radio frequencies, you can program them on FRS or MURS frequencies for non-licensing operation, as well as using the NOAA's National Weather Service.The original antenna is capable of roughly 3 miles communication in the open field, this is quite enough for a typical radio user, you can extend the range with a longer antenna if needed. I have to say I really like these radios, it's one of best investments I ever made.

I bought a set of 2 for our trip to the parks, tested them at home and the did very well, we could hear each other clearly when talking from my apartment to my friend's which is about a mile away. It's good because there are many buildings surrounding. I am going to see how it works in outdoor this weekend. The earpiece came in the box is nice.

I got these for my 8 year old and myself to keep in touch while he rides bikes with friends... We live in a very small country town where almost everyone knew everyone until the pipe line came through... They work much farther than I even allow him to travel without me!! Well worth peace of mind!!
