Get a better screw for this than what's provided
If you choose to get a new screw, which is probably wise, I'd recommend a black oxide coated socket screw. The screw provided in this kit is a #6-32 1/2" long screw. Black oxide coated is best to resist the transmission fluid breaking down the metal...the provided screw is not black oxide coated. So, you'll most likely have to special order this, and an internal toothed lock washer in black oxide finish, too. Using a lock washer will actually work vs using some sort of thread locker that will melt and dissolve in the hot transmission fluid...waste of effort. I found these at a specialty fastener supplier online.

The hex-head socket screw provided didn't fit the semi-common sizes ...
The hex-head socket screw provided didn't fit the semi-common sizes of Allen wrenches I have, either metric or USA type. However, the semi-common thread pitch allowed me to put a different screw in place and tighten it. I hope it does come out on either of the two transmissions I had to fix.

One should note
Two things about this part. One, replace the cheap screw with something better with a lock washer. Two, the exact item is under $3 on RockAuto. If you are installing the 4T65E shift kit you probably will want to replace the filter. My Wix filter and the retainer cost me 23.60 total from Rock. Sometimes Amazon is overpriced especially on simple things.

Good upgrade for your 4t65e. Could use a better screw though.
I had the same problem as another reviewer, the allen screw seems to be an odd size. I happened to have a key that fit, you might want to just go to the hardware screw and get a better quality screw anyway as the included one is pretty cheesey...You NEED this if you have one of these transmissions! When I pulled the pan off, the tube attached to the hose inside the transmission was only in by 1/32" or so. This clamp solves the problem of the tube sliding out of the accumalator.
