Premium Quality Barberry (Zereshk) (12 Ounces)

These are quality products at a reasonable price. Hard to find where I live so I count on Amazon to get these to me for my Persian food cooking needs!

This is a great quality and tasty barberry. Barberries are known to regulate blood sugar and lower cholesterol (it has natural occurring berberine). I soak half a scoop overnight in a glass of water and drink the water in the morning. Barberries sold by this seller taste far better than other products that I have tried.

Look like decent quality.Packaging not great; many berries were loose and out of the container.

Delivered clean, prepped and ready to munch! Standard order is to add to oatmeal or anything else for that matter. Triple plus for quality and speed of delivery. Highly recommended!

Caveat: I'm Persian so I use a lot of barberries in my cooking and I'm very familiar with various grades of barberries.This is excellent quality. I would not hesitate to order it again.They are large, even color, rosey berry red. Not too many stems.Arrived very quickly as well. Thank you!

Although the taste and look of the berries is good, unfortunately this order had come with the berries not being cleaned very well. When you eat them you have a feeling that you have sand on them and it is left in your mouth. There are little pebbles and thorns. I tried to wash and rinse the berries before eating, and there is some sand residue (or at least it looked like sand). And my kids don't like them after being washed; they prefer them dry. The prior package was gone within a week or two. This one sits on the shelf. I'll have to think if I will order them again from this vendor.

Good product. They are sour so eat with a sweet spoonful of yogurt. I got a headache as a side effect, so stopped eating them, but going to try again
