I bought this product from this seller in 2018 and it came with a cable grip included as part of the unit which had a metal outer sleeve to match the base. Now it doesn't, so had to buy plastic ones separately so a bit disappointed by that. Otherwise very good.

This did not suit my need.

I bought 4 of these for an up cycle project. Unfortunately the thread on one of them has become stuck meaning I can’t take the item apart to rewrite it.It’s probably worth paying a tad more to ensure the build quality is better.

I wanted my Tiffany look alike, look more authentic, so bought some gold 3 core cable and this BC bulb holder to hold a philips hue bulb. Originally had an European screew thread, only BC bulbs left 😎So re wired the light, taking care to earth it this time, no earth before.This Bayonet Connector, or BC holder, looks the part, has an earth screw located on the outside and cable although looks old is modern puvc inside with correct UK colour coded cables.This holder is well made, earth screew, ceramic insert for cables and fits all together great.Another project completed with all parts supplied by Amazon.Remember im a qualified electrician, so dont fool around with electric parts with little or no experience.Ill be back to by some more...
