Works fine, but they could have sent directions on how to install it I had to refer to YouTube just to figure out how to install this kit but other than that it's a good product

There are no instructions but if you are mechanically inclined it's easy to install. A big trick is to install in reverse of what you would think. Put the EDM wire on the carb and slide onto bolts. Before tightening the carb place EDM wire into brass lever and then place spring on lever and install with bolt while securing the lever spring. Tighten carb bolts and the rest is self explanatory from there. The modification is to not use the allen screws. They are garbage. Install spring linkage and then lay throttle cable along side linkage and mark where it meets the hole for the allen screws. Bend throttle cable 90 degrees and insert in linkage through allen screw hole. Secure cable with cable stops on the other side. I also backed up the cable stop with a wire crimp. Ran mud motor on duck boat with this set up all duck season with no problems. Hope this helps people having problems

At first I thought I was going to have to return this kit because it wouldn’t fit. There were no instructions, and the couple photos I could findOf it installed were hard to follow. At first I didn’t cut enough off of the throttle assembly to allow the metal rod to move freely, I was only getting about 30 degrees of motion instead of 90. After looking at it again I figured out how much to cut (want the top of the plastic throttle to be flat and smooth. This kit seems to work ok, there was no nut for one of the bolts, so I had to provide one, with to get the cable bracket to fit, I also had to remove the stock muffler and air filter to get this kit to fit. I’m running stage 1 kit so my exhaust and air filter aren’t stock and don’t interfere.

Kit was exactly what I needed for my sons go kart, did require a little modification. Anyone that builds lego kits and has an angle grinder should be able to put this on using the picture from the ad description

Go it on my gx160. Works fine. Wish it would of came with instructions.

Simple throttle solution for predator and similar engines. I used on my mini bike.After 3 hours, zero instructions and 14 youtube videos with no answers, I tried the linkage on a ride and it snapped and hung wide open. Glad it wasn't my son riding. Spare yourself the headache and buy a different product. These parts are made of beer cans and spit. They will bend and break very easily and the entire design is horrible. I was better off stock. Will update if seller makes it right.
