MorriSofa Emery Press Back Recliner, Taupe Color

I was extremely excited when I found this chair and it arrived within a timely manner, overall the chair is what I expected. The style and fabric is exactly what I was looking for, however the construction is subpar. The chair arrived in 2 parts and was easy to put together. The frame construction is poorly made, not very sturdy when moving the chair within the room for proper placement. The overall comfort is adequate, the seat is firm and the arm height is great for my 5’5” frame, I just wish it had a higher back to lean your head against when the chair is partially reclined, nothing that can’t be fixed by an additional pillow. The back and seat cushions are sown to the frame allowing no room for error with possible stains if you wanted for flip the cushions over to prevent wear patterns. The other issue I found was that when the recliner is pushed back in it’s full position, the spring mechanism seems to slowly slip the recliner back into the partial position all on it’s own. I guess you get what you pay for, I plan on keeping it and will make do since it is an accent chair in living room.

I really like it, its bigger than I thought & very comfortable, easy to assemble but keep in mind this is Chenille so not the best material to stand up to daily use, I immediately got a cover for it that covers the back & arm rests. If you are considering a high use chair maybe look for a sturdier material with this same company. Great "occasional" chair!

Beautiful chair, love the fabric. The construction is not the best, seems one arm is questionable, but I haven’t had a problem. But if you need a super sturdy, use it for everything/one chair - look elsewhere. I have this in a little used room.
