Incredibly inexpensive, good strength, spool not that great though
They said this would be backordered for 6 weeks. Showed up at my door in 7 days. Cool!I bought this because I was annoyed that they normally sell you 30 yards of fluoro tippet for $15, but I can get a 200 yard spool of fluoro line for $20. Why the huge charge for small quantity? But I can't fit 4 spools (2x-5x) of 200 yard line in my fly vest, and they don't make that many sizes anyway.Tested the 4x, and it had similar strength to my rio tippet. Size was true when measured with a tippet gauge. Be aware, though, that knot strength for all fluoro tippet is not very good.Thd price of this fluoro tippet was about 1/3rd the price of other fluoro tippet, and the same as mono tippet. Makes you wonder if its really mono and not fluoro. I can't tell the difference just looking at it. But it had the (weaker) knot strength of fluoro, and not the higher knot strength of mono. Must be fluoro. The only down side is the spools have a fuzzy band around them to hold the line in place. There's no hole in the band like with rio spools to hold the line in place, so it doesn't wind/unwind that well. Save the bands from your rio tippet spools, and use them on these spools.Better spools would be 5 stars. As is 4 stars.

Carabiner broke
10 uses and carabiner lost its tension and all spools fell into the current. I agree lighter strength tippet has weak durability and breaks easy. Idea is great, but breaking half a season in isn't great quality

Comparable to more well known expensive brands.
The product is great for that price. No kinking and durable. And it comes with a tippet holder for a fishing pack or lanyard.

solid tippet without breaking the bank
Nice to have a run of a bunch of differing tippet sizes! The break strength is not quite on par with the top-quality stuff, but they do a decent job. it ties well and I haven't found any abrasion, crimps, etc. in using it so far. My only complaint is that it's tough to get the little holder scrunchies off with just your fingers...you have to use the sharp edge of something...i just use my fly hook. I wish it had a little nubbin that stuck out past the edge of the spool to grab onto.

Worth the price
Honestly good tippet for the price. Easy to tie, straightens well, and holds up to true test strength. Only downside is the little cloth bands that retain the line close to the spool. They work well enough, but can be kind of a pain. Overall worth it for the money

Poor Quality For Tiny Flies
I primarily use flies in the #18 to #24 range. This tippet is insufficient quality to use for tiny flies like this. It is cloudy and when you run your fingers up and down the tippet you can feel the differences in thickness of the tippet. I think the fish can see this tippet, more so than a higher quality tippet. The strength seems to be good because I've been able to land large fish that I've landed even on the fine #6 tippet.

Great Value for good Tilpet
Great flouro tippet for the price. Seems like it’s a little thin - the 5X is more like 5.5X. Which I like. Can get away with 4X in many situations where I’d use Rio 5X.
