A Taste of Lebanon: Cooking Today the Lebanese Way Paperback – October 30, 1992

I bought this recipe book so I could learn to make Lebanese food for my boyfriend... So far, I have made the Hummus, Tabouli, Saffi, Rice Pilaf, Eggplant chickpea stew, Fatoosh and the Moujadara from this book. Every single one of these recipes were incredible. This cookbook is my first exposure to Lebanese food and I am obsessed. The flavors are amazing! My boyfriend has loved everything and said that some of these are just the way his grandma used to make them. He always tells me what an amazing cook she was, so that is a huge compliment to this book!

Best tabbouleh recipe ever! I’ve been searching for the perfect, authentic tabbouleh recipe since my favorite local Lebanese deli closed 5 years ago, and this tastes just like theirs. I’ve made that and the bean salad recipe weekly for the past month, and I‘m not even remotely tired of eating them yet. So delicious and healthy!

This book covers a lot of different recipes and the instructions are very clear. The recipes that I have used taste very similar to what my grandmother made and are very good. I definitely would recommend this book.

Exactly what I wanted, but family member came over to coach me. She's very accomplished with Lebanese cuisine, even vacationed there and she really liked contents. I sent her home with my copy and ordered a second for myself. Easy to understand & follow. Enjoyed what we made.

In general is a good middle eastern cooking book. It has good recipes and they're not that complicated to do.

I previously owned a copy of this book and used it often. Lebanese food is so pleasing to me and my friends ask why I haven't cooked anything in awhile so it was a must that I find this and only this book. A friend who worked for a Lebanese family said it was the most authentic.

Authentic Lebanese recipes in an easy to follow and easy to read recipe book... I love to fix Lebanese dishes as often as I can for my Lebanese family and this makes it easy to know exactly what ingredients I will need and exactly what to do. This is a great cook book and I am very glad that I found it!

Lebanese. For real. Book was given to me by a friend born and raised in Lebanon. I am an old gal, born in the USA, and I love hummus, spinach pies, olives, and baklava. I like rose water in the baklava sugar water, not honey!
