Very well-built
Very well-built, Used this to cover septic entrance, and 6 inch pipe. Works really well and has thick walls, and I’m totally happy with this product. I would recommend this

Exactly what I was looking for!
We were doing some landscaping in the backyard. I was looking for a way to elevate the fountain and this worked perfectly! Much easier and cheaper than sourcing a real boulder!

The website product dimensions are misleading
The website product dimensions say this item is 42 x 34 x 13, which may be true of the outer dimensions, but no where does it mention this is the case, nor is there any information about the product's inner dimensions. This made a significant difference in the functionality of the product for me, making it absolutely useless in covering my septic tank cover which is 33 x 33 x 5.5. Now I'm stuck trying to sell it locally to get some of my money back as it will cost more to ship it back than the original purchase price. I highly suggest visiting the original manufacturer's website (RTS Companies Inc Store) to learn the actual dimensions of this product.

Well done.
I used the rock to cover an irrigation manifold. I had to modify the interior to fit and insulate it, but it works perfectly. The color is a little lighter than shown in the picture, but I intend to age it, if I can figure out how.

Nice fake rock.
As represented. Good for covering or concealing a space (in my case, access to water shut off valves). It can be filled with sand to make it more heavy and sturdy; however, I don't believe it is for anything other than ornamental use and not as a foundation piece for anything else.

Pale grey, no threaded hole
The online images (both here and elsewhere) show a dark charcoal grey. The "rock" I received is much, much lighter. In the garden with light hitting the top, it sticks out as almost whitish--so it calls attention to itself rather than receding into the landscape. And it's not just the online images that show a charcoal grey. The printed flyer in the shipping box shows a much darker grey as well. The unit I received doesn't come close to this color. Both the online text and the printed flyer say that there is a threaded hole through which you can add sand or water to weigh it down. So presumably there is supposed to be some sort of screw cap so that the sand or water does not spill out when you turn it over. The unit I received does not have a threaded hole. It has a hole, period. If I did want to fill it, I would need to find some sort of stopper to plug the hole. Otherwise, the water would drain out immediately. There is a visible seam where presumably the two halves of the mold came together. Makes it look like a cheap plastic toy. In addition, there are a couple of splotches where the color didn't mix. I would have preferred more color variation, but given that the rest of the item is a uniform monotone grey, these splotches stand out as obvious flaws. One is quite pale and looks like a big splat of bird poop. The other is smaller and orange-ish in color. There are some tiny little black specks sprinkled throughout which I suppose are meant to make it look more realistic. But given that the specks are about the size of fine-grained black pepper, they don't contribute much to the overall look.Overall, it is quite disappointing. Nonetheless, the size and shape fit my needs. So I suppose I will buy some spray paint to tone down the color, hope the paint sticks to the plastic, and live with it until something better comes along.

Looks Real
This half-rock looks very real and can be readily relocated or used indoors.
