I suspect we will spend a lot of time with this.However, I will say that I could have done without laughable quote in the introduction - to the point where I considered a refund the moment I saw it. Every action the man has taken has been so far from the spirit of whatever his speechwriter was trying to get across, that I almost can't even believe that those words ever crossed his lips - but, if you take into account the fact that every other thing he's said has been misleading, at best, then I suppose it's par for the course.I'll chalk it up to the author having a healthy sense of humor and move on.

I got these books for my husband for Christmas and he absolutely loved them! There are so many fun projects and even though he won't be able to do them quite yet with our son (he's 2 months), my husband will be doing some of them to test them out. The funny thing is all of his friends are more than ready and willing to also do the experiments and other fun nerdy things. The only downside I could possibly think of are the potential messes i'll have to clean up, oh well, I did it to myself for getting these super fun books for my boys (ok, and me, I can't wait to geek out with them)!!

I liked this book as well (I got it and the original together), though I thought it was a LITTLE lighter on content than the first. For example, I didn't think a superhero cape (take cloth, make it a cape ) was really necessary to do.But the very cool projects like the trebuchet, steadycam, custom lego minifigs, are all great design ideas.This book does require a lot more components however (LOTS of legos, Arduino Circuit Board, RC Cars), so be prepared to spend more on these projects.

i got this as a gift for a cool geek dad i know. i think it was something he had looked at and never would have bought for himself. his wife actually guessed what it was before it was unwrapped! i cant say that he loved it or hated it but i think he was excited for it. it arrived promptly and it was exactly what i expected. i cant ask for more.

I think this is OK, some of the ideas are great, the build details are so-so.Almost feels a bit old fashion given WEB and all the resources in cyber space.A little google time is probably as good as this.

my husband hasn't read it yet but i want him to start trying some of the cool ideas I've read in there to do with our sons. He will have a lot of fun and so will they I know it was a good book to buy for Christmas to give him a little help with ideas.

Most enjoyable with lots of ideas.

This isn’t anything like I was expecting, waste f time sending it back because thankfully I only paid £2, postage was more.Didn’t contain what I though, projects were silly sketches that were difficult to follow, relagated to door stop.

Bought this for my husband but he didn't really enjoy it, because the activities described in the book are not that easy to follow, and take a lot of effort to do. Looking at the description I was it was something quick and easy to do over one weekend.

Well written and interesting book. The author gives ideas that are excellent jumping off points for fun activities. There are also chapters with info about how to actually get your child engaged in these tasks. The projects cover a variety of ages and interests. Most need a small amount of extra purchasing for parts.Well done

My son is still small (3 year old) to make the projects described in the book. So, we can't wait for him to grow up a bit to make lots of really cool stuff with his daddy.
