with this book instead of buying your survival bracelets you can now make them yourself. instead of paying $10-30 for your specific color and size bracelet. you make it your size, your color and what ever other stuff you want on it. this is a good book to learn how to do the basic bracelet and key chain. but after you learn this, then the sky is the limit on what you can make. i have read other peoples reviews that this book is basic and only a certain knot. they are right but for the beginner in making a paracord bracelet you have to start somewhere. this book is a very good starting point. my recommendation is that if you have not made paracord bracelets before. get the book and then go from there.

This book was a good deal. The b/w images are ok thus the 4 stars. The instructional explanations are concise and easy to follow. I like the size of this handbook allowing for one's own handwritten notes. There are many projects in it for beginners and some for experienced knotters.
