Shapemags 100 Piece Set 100 Pcs Magnet Building Tiles Magnetic Blocks - Accessories Set, Award Winning STEM Educational 3D Construction Blocks Set

We ordered this set for our nearly 4 year old daughter after getting her the standard Stick N Stack 100 piece set with mainly squares and triangles last year. Even as barely a 3 year old she enjoyed that one very much so we wanted to expand the set this year. We initially went with Stick N Stack last year because they were cheaper than Magnatiles and had decent ratings. Since I've never used Magnatiles I can't comment on how good these magnets are compared to them, but they tend to stick pretty well, in my opinion. This time around we again looked at other brands but this Shapemags Stick N Stack set was one of the few that had significantly different shapes besides squares, triangles, and some windows and doors. This one allows building arches and fences and other odd shapes, which greatly increases the variety of what you can make. Plus it comes with 4 car bases and 16 "people" to put in them Definitely more than any other brand seemed to offer. Some have commented that the magnets can repel each other. This does seem to be true with some of the pieces (not all), and more with this set than it was with the first one we bought. But all you have to do is turn the piece around and you can usually stick it just fine. There have only been a handful of times where I couldn't get them to stick the way I wanted. So if you're looking for a variety of structures to build I would recommend this set. Full disclosure - the company does offer to send a book of over 100 structures to build for free if you write a review here, but they don't specify that it has to be a good one (and you have to email them separately to get it - it's not automatic). And I don't believe if giving an unwarranted good review just for a kickback. My recommendation is based on my experience and the joy my daughter and I have had playing with these.

I initially bought a smaller set of the Magnetic Stick for my 3 and 4 years old. It does keep them occupied for a while and even longer when you add in some small figurines or cars to get their creativity going. Then they wanted more pieces to expand possibilities. Once I gave them this set, it took their building experience to another level. They've created castles, cityscapes, roads, farms, and a bunch of random structures that I would not even think of myself. However, some of the pieces can't probably stick together due to faulty magnetic stripe. Although that didn't prevent my kids from creating the things they want, but for this cost, it should be improved. Overall, I do recommend this for toddlers or kids that like to build or stack things with their hands.

All our kids like these, but our 2.5 year old is in love. He calls them barns, and he has been building barns of all shapes and sizes and purposes all day long since we acquired our first set as a gift six months ago. There are only two things he truly loves in this world: building with barns, and how easily he can knock them down and feel nothing. Their magnetism is perfect, not too strong or too flimsy. I enjoy building barns myself, especially after the extra hour of sleep they provide me. Seriously, a bin of barns at the foot of your bed for the 2-5+ set. We have this accessory set, a big squares and triangles set, plus the big red square base. Suggest getting a set with a bunch of squares and if it's a hit, buying the accessories and the base.

We added this to a magnatile set we already had, and the pieces fit well together. My kids (almost 3 and 4.5) really love the variety of shapes and windows, and the car bases and people add a whole new element to their play! We did have an issue with missing wheels on one of the car bases, but I reached out to the company and they quickly sent us a replacement piece (along with a few extra shapes). I was impressed with the customer service and we will be ordering the ramps/stairs from this company soon! You really can't have too many of these - they are played with daily.

I waited a few weeks before writing this review because I wanted to really see if the joy it brought lasted. IT DID. I was desperate for something for my 4-year old boy to play with while I worked alone with my 8-year old daughter on her school work. Every toy we had bought he played with once and then got bored. I wanted something he could use to build stuff, keep his mind active, get creative and experiment. THIS WAS THE BEST FIND. He has played with it every single day for over two weeks and it's as exciting as if we got it yesterday. He builds new ensembles daily - the parts hold up, they are durable and the assortment of options included has provided endless creation. I would recommend this to anyone. Really really great find.

Lots of building fun without the stress of them falling down. My 4 year old received these for Christmas. He loved the set in his preschool class so we decided to get him his own. It came with a good variation of shapes. My son is able to build a lot of different things. I wish it came with a book of pictures to give him more ideas of things he could build. The people are a great add on to ride around in the cars. He also builds jails and puts the people inside. A little expensive but Overall a great learning toy.

Well, I love the shapes provided in this set, but I prefer the way Magna Tiles connect. With this set the issue is that the negative and positive polarity on the magnets make it more difficult to snap together in various combinations. Some tiles really repel each other, so it makes it harder for my daughter to build with certain combinations. The train cars and wheels are a lot of fun, and the windows really add a lot to the structures my daughter builds, so overall I would recommend it, just be aware of the polarity issue.

We bought my 3 year old granddaughter a beginners set of Magnetic Stick N Stacks for her birthday a few months ago. She loved them so much, my son bought her a set soon after for her to have at his house. She enjoys building things in creative ways and told me they were her favorite thing to play with, so Grandma decided to expand her options of pieces and ordered the 100 piece Accessory set. She will see the Accessory set for the first time this afternoon and I know her eyes will light up. A great toy to keep children occupied.

We already owned the magnatile 100 piece set so this was the perfect addition to add to our collection. My kids spend hours playing, building creating with these. One star less as the set does not have the large tyres as shown in the image. My son was disappointed as he was hoping to build a monster truck with it. Given That it’s over 10k seller should upload the correct picture. Items arrived in excellent condition and on time. My kids liked the pieces so I decided not to return it.
