Excellent product
I bought this wax for use in restoring tobacco smoking pipes. I had previously ordered a different brand and was happy with it but less so with the price. This wax is the same stuff in a much larger quantity, making it an excellent value.I apply the wax with a variable speed Dremel using a 1” cotton wheel and get results as good as I got using my full-size buffer. The next time I need it I will re-order this product, though I expect that will be some time in the future; a little goes a long way.

Not good for woodworking. Hardest wax I've ever seen.
Wanted to use this wax for woodworking but it is much too hard. The consistency is that of peanut brittle. It cracks and flakes instead of spreads in a thin film. Perhaps it is good for other uses but not any I intend. I may try to melt it down and mix it with other soft waxes to form a hybrid but until then, I give it 4 stars because it isn't the manufacturer's fault other than not describing it as rock hard.

Hard and brittle
I don't know if I'm supposed to heat this up before using it but this this is more like peanut brittle and a soft wax.
