This was the first time I tried charcoal toothpaste and honestly this one specifically was better than regular toothpaste for me. Cleans up my teeth way quicker and whiter after eating and continues to keep them clean throughout the day. Doesn't taste weird or bad at all and makes your teeth whiter noticeably. Would and will buy again.

I have two badly chipped teeth that are incredibly sensitive. I'm able to brush without them feeling super irritated. A huge plus for me.I've used charcoal toothpaste in the past and it always left a gritty feeling in my mouth afterwards, and a strange aftertaste. I figured at the price I'd try this toothpaste, it wouldn't really be a huge loss if I didn't like it. I'm glad I tried as it as I found that I do enjoy it quite a bit. As stated, I don't get a gritty feeling in my mouth or an ashy after taste. It works well on my teeth, including my chipped ones, without leaving a feeling of irritation behind. It's smoother than previous toothpaste I've gotten as well, which is what I'm guessing the coconut oil was for.Overall, I enjoy this product and feel that it works well for me. If you've never tried charcoal toothpaste before and are curious, I would suggest it.Also important to note, the seller kept tabs on the shipping and made sure to let me know if I had any feedback that I could contact them through the emails they sent. That kind of customer service has always been something that I like, as it shows they're interested in feedback and comments on their product.

This toothpaste foams up like regular toothpaste and is grey, not black like other charcoal pastes. So, I'm not a fan. When I purchase a charcoal toothpaste, I want something different from regular toothpaste. This product seems somewhere in between regular toothpaste and a good refreshing charcoal paste. It also runs out sooner.UPDATE: After using Nuva toothpaste for 6 months, I can give a better review. What I've noticed is that a non-foaming toothpaste gives my teeth a completely clean feel. However, the more foamy Nuva toothpaste gets my teeth whiter. The whitening effect is easy to see within 2 days! I drink a lot of green tea, and this toothpaste makes my teeth sparkle. So, now I use BOTH a non-foaming toothpaste (in the morning) and the Nuva foamy toothpaste at night. Sometimes I flip it. I don't think it really matters which toothpaste comes first. Bottom line, Nuva works for whitening! One more thing: Nuva contains aspartame, an artificial sweetener which may affect ones health. It's worth researching before choosing this toothpaste.

I am not sure if has whitened my teeth even a wee bit. I am a non-smoker and no tar on teeth, but regular yellowish teeth and continue to remain so.However, I routinely use this after coffees or after lunch. Found a marked difference in unpleasant mask breath (especially during COVID times), and gives odor-free breath for several hours. Would not have noticed how good is this product if it were not for continued mask-wearing.My 5yr girl hates this, but she uses this once a day before hitting the bed.

I had previously tried charcoal powder and a charcoal toothpaste which worked great, but were messy and sprayed all over the bathroom wall and mirror. So far I am loving this toothpaste, have only been using for a week. It starts out looking dark grey like charcoal but quickly starts to turn white and fizz in your mouth. This leaves your teeth feeling clean and your mouth fresh. My sister was having some gum issues prior to using this brand and now her gums have stopped hurting. Not so sure about the whitening yet since we have not been using it that long. The taste is neutral, which is good, nothing too strong or unpleasant. I would definitely recommend this brand. Glad I decided to try.

This is the best charcoal toothpaste I have purchased. 5 out of 7 of my immediate family are vegan. Fluoride is not good for us. When my grandson was about 3 years old his dr called and wanted him to come in for fluoride treatments. I instantly questioned him.Also i had a back molar that the filling fell out of. My boys told me to start using thos charcoal toothpaste and I will not have any pain. Well that was in February of this year. I have not had tooth fixed and no pain.Oh and if you have never used a charcoal toothpaste, the black you switch out at first is scary. 🙄

I have used this product less than one month. I'll know better after I've used it for a while if there is a difference in the color of my teeth....whiter!
