Holy SmokeHickory Smoked Wildflower Honey - 12 Ounce

I was appalled when I opened my greatly anticipated honey. I have bought this honey many times before in Charleston, SC , and it always was a rich honey color that flowed like honey should. This honey was crystallized. That is what you see in the picture, crystallized honey. Having grown up on a farm in North Carolina, and having had apiaries where we harvested the honey I know the difference between fresh and very old honey. VERY OLD HONEY is CRYSTALLIZED.Not to worry, I heated the honey in the bottle it came in and brought it back to free flowing. However, this must be the oldest honey ever and within a week it had recrystallized. I know this product and it is very good, especially if you like a hickory smoked taste. This was a huge disappointment and the people that fulfilled this order are not on the up and up.

Absolutely fantastic flavor to add to multiple dishes. Has the slight sweet, smokey, tangy taste. I use it on roasted brussel sprouts, sauteed green beans. Pork, ect. So very very good. All should try it.

You have to try this for yourself. This is good to have this time of the year if you are cooking out side.

Not my first time buying and won't be my last. Love the olive oil too. Excellent for seasoning cast irons.
