The sexy image on the cover kind of gives this one away as the record's got a slinky, erotic vibe that's quite different than some of Ennio Morricone's other material of the time! There's a bit more electronics here than you might expect from the maestro including a few electric rhythms at times, which are mixed with acoustic instrumentation on piano or trumpet on some of the best moments but also give way to some completely electronic passages at others. But there's also lots of all-acoustic cuts, with a really haunting feel and a few moments get very spare, moody, and acoustic in that key Morricone style of the 70s. Titles include "Cadenze", "Laura", "Prigioniero", "Improvviso", "Solo", and "Il Ritorno".
