Halo Top Creamery, Birthday Cake, 16 oz (Frozen)

I'm hooked on this, I have only been able to try the birthday cake, the chocolate and the strawberry. The strawberry has 280 calories a pint instead of 240 like the others, which I assume is because there is actually real strawberries in it, and tastes like real strawberries are in it and I normally would not choose strawberry, but it was also amazing. Of the flavors I have been able to find, I like them all. This birthday cake flavor even has real sprinkles in it, which makes it extra delicious. I have no tolerance for sugar alcohols (like sorbitol and maltitol, etc) but while it has a similar sounding name, erythritol is amazing- it does not have an effect on gastrointestinal stuff for most people, and gives this ice cream a good texture just like real sugar would, without the calories or carbs. This ice cream is made from cream and eggs, which is why it actually is creamy- to boost the sweetness of the erythritol, it has natural stevia- I do not taste the stevia bitterness or aftertaste in this ice cream. Usually I find everything with stevia in it bitter and too chemically sweet, but its perfect here. This melts differently to other ice cream, it will go from rock hard to soft differently to other ice cream, so you want to watch it so you can find your own personal ice cream sweet spot. My favorite is when it melts enough so that you can turn the ice cream along the bottom of the pint up, so the part that your hand was melting can be eaten. THis is $7 a pint at the two places I know carry it other than Amazon Fresh. Please do not stop carrying this, and make sure the other flavors stay in stock!

Taste like a birthday cake but not as sweet which is better.My package came full to the brim and not as half empty like some of the photos reviews.Would recommend this as a cheaper and healthier alternative to an actual birthday cake, or just to treat yourself.

This is my go to ice cream when I have a sweet tooth and don’t really want to waste my calories on something bad. Does remind me off frosting and batter.

This is a delicious sweet treat, tastes like real cake. For my taste it's a little too sweet. The sprinkles are a nice touch, but I would prefer the ice cream without them.I just like Halo Top ice creams as a nice treat. Some flavor are better than `normal` ice cream. They are hard as rock out of the fridge, I usually let them sit for half an hour on the counter before digging in.

Guilt free ice cream! I really liked it because you sometimes want a dessert without thinking about how much you need to exercise to burn it off. It's not something I would have every week , but when I crave ice cream I would definitely buy it again.

Maybe its because I have not had an actual cake in a long time but its not 100% tasting like birthday cake. Maybe a synthetic version of it which is a given because its ice cream.It is tasty though. It's creamy and one of the few ice creams that with a spoon is able to scoop up easily after the first break through. The sprinkles are not tasty though. They don't contribute to the ice cream and more often than naught I wanted to spit them out.This brand is considered to be the 'healthier' option to the big brands out there so I am definitely going to be trying a different flavor.One major downside is the tiny pints for a steep prices. Prices like these do often make me often consider forgetting the healthier consideration for the cheap price

This is a very creamy (when allowed to rest before eating) and much lower calorie ice cream. Good flavors available. Birthday Cake is probably my favorite flavor.

One of my favorite flavors. Can eat a whole pint for only 280 cals! a little pricey but if you can ever find on sale, so worth it either way.
