Product description
Chia seeds are rich in nutrients such as omega-3 fatty acids, B vitamins, thiamine, riboflavin and folate (among others), all of which have well documented health benefits. Our chia seeds come from the Salvia hispanica (Latin name) plant which is part of the mint family and is native to southern Mexico and Guatemala, however it is now cultivated throughout Latin America. There is evidence linking chia cultivation to the Aztecs of Mesoamerica inferring an ancient and diverse heritage.Our growers are Organic certified, they lovingly cultivate the chia plants before harvesting the seeds and sending them to us where we package them for you. Our chia seeds are raw and suitable for vegetarians, vegans and kosher diets.
Directions
Add to smoothies to make them more filling, sprinkle on salads or use to thicken soups and sauces. There are some great chia-based jam recipes out there too!

The delivery was super quick and the product itself a really great quality at a fraction of the usual price for organic, raw chia seeds. There are loads of fab recipes using chia seeds in the Deliciously Ella books that I've been trying out - a delicious snack without the guilt. Bonus.

Really good quality seeds and brilliant price
Really good quality seeds and brilliant price! They come in a neat easy to open pack which you can fit a spoon in so you won't spill half the pack opening or trying to get them out!!! Really yummy in salad, pasta and curry for an added boost. I'm going to try baking some bread with them in later. Amazing helpful seller- Thank you! Will def buy again.

Arrived within two days of ordering, very neat packaging. The seeds are as quality as any of the high street brands I have used, but at a fraction of the price. My kids love them drizzled over their cereal in the mornings!
