Do not mistake this for a night light or any place you don't want a constant light operating after dark.Imagine a 3-way light bulb. The constant setting after dark is similar to the lowest of the 3 settings. When motion is sensed, it switches to the brightest setting and it's like having a medium watt corner lamp turn on. It's great if you want to light a hallway, garage etc. But not for a bedroom or similarNOTES:- the motion sensor works great- The light indicator is not adjustable and can keep the light active when there is sufficient natural light to see in the early morning or early evening

This night light is good for a garage or basement, but that’s it. I would not use this for inside the house at all. I specifically bought this for the garage, so that’s why I’m okay with the light. It’s very bright, and it does not dim that much when there is light present. It stays lit constantly, only dims slightly when light is present, and then brightens when it’s completely dark. Again, this is good for a garage or basement but I would not put in my bedroom, bathroom, etc.

Great, works exactly as advertised. A touch bright in the dim mode, but I knew that going in, and that is perfect forMy three sons all of whom prefer lights on at night. I put one in the hallway, and one in their bathroom. Not a single complaint about a bedroom light on since then! Great, awesome, motion thing is super, and very helpful. Love it.

My husband wanted a good nightlight for the bathroom so he wouldn't have to turn on the lights at night. All of our regular nightlights weren't bright enough since the only plug is awkwardly blocked behind the counter. This one is strong enough to overcome that hurdle and works perfectly. It's a decent brightness anytime the main lights are out. But as soon as it senses motion, the brightness kicks up a notch and really illuminates.

I bought this for my son's closet. It stays on low until motion is detected and then brightens! Works fine. I thought it would be OFF until motion turned it on. My mistake.

I have been searching for a good motion sensor night light for my garage and this far exceeded my expectations. It has a low light mode, controlled by a photo cell, that provides just enough light to see where you are going and it also has a motion activated higher intensity light to give you more light when you enter it's control zone. Great idea. Best of both worlds.

Very bright and stylish with motion sensor that brightens when movement detected. I only wish it had a backup battery as well so that it would work during a power outage. Almost perfect, Maybe next generation will have that feature..

I have these in my garage and they produce enough light that I don’t need to use the overhead light unless I am doing a project in there. I like that they are on even without motion detected (the garage is always dark) because I would not want to trip before I got in range to detect motion. Hopefully they will last- that is my only concern
