These are fantastic pattern weights and everyone who sees them in my sewing room goes crazy for them. No corners cut here; generous weight and size and your patterns aren’t going anywhere with these on top. If you have a sewist in your life they make a fantastic gift too.

These pattern weights are EXACTLY what I was looking for!My teacher uses these same weights and I needed an UPGRADE! I had been using all kinds of irregular, uneven, and opaque objects to hold down patterns...whatever I had laying around...scissors, rulers, books, etc. When I saw my teacher using clear glass weights I thought, "That's what I need!".Positives:- Perfect size and weight...solid, even shape to hold it down- Smooth...they slide around on the pattern without any snags- 8 is the perfect number to spread out on a pattern- Stylish and modern when stacked away...I only stack 2 at a time- ***You can see the pattern notes through them while they hold the pattern down!***I bought this set of 8 that same day and I'm SO happy with them! As a child, my parents had a friend/neighbor who was an avid sewer. She never pinned - she used cans of tuna to hold down her patterns. I sewed from age 16 (with a 40 year career hiatus) and used ONLY pins. So now I'm retired and getting back into sewing. While searching the internet for new and improved options, I found these and thought of my parents' sewing friend. THESE ARE AWESOME! I like them because they have a good weight and feel to them, and slide much more readily than a can of tuna. (Bean-bag weights were another option but they won't slide as readily.) I wanted to ensure that I had plenty so I bought 2 tubes. One would have been plenty. I now only pin tight curves and small pieces such as a neck facing.

I am very happy with these pattern weights. I am using them for sewing patterns and they are perfect for holding pattern and fabric in place with the bonus of being able to see through them. I would highly recommend them.

These glass weights are pretty good. I just wish they had some sort of anti-slip coating on the bottom and were a teeny bit heavier. But I guess, for the price they're fine and fit the description in the listing.

I etched these with our local hockey teams’ logos and some cute hockey designs as they look just like glass hockey pucks! Used as end of year gifts and trophy case display awards.

Best pattern weights ever....only problem is the packaging, one of the weights arrived shipped (broken on one edge);other than that i'm in love, will buy again (need more).

purchased as I'm cutting silk fabric. These work exceptionally well. better than soup cans!
