Bought these to hold patterns on fabric. May still have to use a pin here and there but it sure beats pinning everything!

These were intended to be used with self-made heavy paper pattern pieces, (see (Manila Paper Roll for Pattern Making - White and Green Pattern Paper" on Amazon) not tissue pattern pieces commonly bought in in complete garment patterns -- which changed my original 1-star opinion of them completely. My bad.

Exactly what I was looking for to weigh down fabric as I cut it. The handles are a nice touch.

The item was not as heavy as I expected.

I like glass weights that are easy to slide around as needed. I have a set of four that are solid disks, and this set of four with troughs that form a "handle" in the middle. There's no particular advantage to either, in my opinion. The handle in these isn't quite so useful as it might seem - the shape is tapered, so you have to get a good friction grip in order for it not to slip from your pinched fingers. The first time I tried to pick one up, I accidentally dropped it. And your fingertips have to be pretty slim to get down in there anyway. So it's just as easy, if not more secure, to just hold it by the outer edges. Overall, these weights do the job I need them to do.

I use these as I am sewing. They help eliminate pins.

As advertised. These fabric weights make cutting out clothes a breeze. I much prefer using these weights to pinning.
