Perfect for a residential offset
If you've purchased a commercial lock for a residential door you'll probably need this part.Pretty much a universal fit for a comercial lock. If you're part looks like this it will probably work. I used these on grade-2 Amazon purchased exterior door locks.Does the job.I'm happy but wish these came with my lockset

2.75 is the size of the strike plate, not the backset, which is 2 3/8
Misleading description. Not a bad product, just wasted time and money.
