Defective product
The media could not be loaded. I received these shoes on 8/14/20. They fit great. Are very comfortable. On 10/1/20, they started squeaking occasionally while working. They have progressively gotten worse. Because I ordered them through Amazon, Alegria won’t let me exchange them. Zappos who sold them through Amazon, won’t help. Amazon is the most disappointing, the customer service representative was very adamant that I should have contacted them so the in 30 days. I tried explaining that the defect didn’t become apparent until 10/1/20 then kept get worse. I tried explaining that I don’t want a refund, I just want to exchange them. Sweetha the customer service rep. Said she had no options for this issue. So lesson learned, I will NEVER purchase another Alegria product since they don’t stand behind their defective products. I shop with Amazon several times a week, but that will stop. Shoes I can’t wear and out $138.07. So dissatisfied and disappointed.

Great Nurses shoes for plantar fasciitis
I am a 60 year old RN. Having had plantar fasciitis in the past I knew the symptoms and what to do. I bought these shoes on suggestion from someone else who had positive results from them and am so glad I did. I was already using OTC anti-inflammatory cream ( Trolamine salicilate 10%) at least twice a day which I continued to do after getting these shoes. I could tell the difference the 1st day I wore them. I had taken a backup pair of shoes with me to work expecting to have to change out midway but did not have to use them. My feet felt so much better at the end of that shift, I knew I had made a good selection. Now approx 2 months later my feet continue to improve. They no longer scream at me in the morning or when I get up after a brief rest which is tell tale sx of PF. They are no longer screaming at me at the end of a l2 hour shift. I am not big on writing reviews but I felt I should pass on this positive experience. I have purchased two more pair. One more for work in colors that match my uniform and another basic color and texture for everyday wear.Pros.-Great Arch support.-Well made, sturdy shoe.-Replaceable footbed.-Great variety of styles and colors (some nurses like flashy colors on their shoes).Cons.-sizing seems a little inconsistent between styles. I have found I need to size up for the Mary Jane style. but this clog style seems to be size appropriate.-looks a little clunky on the feet but that is a small price for the comfort.- I wish they came in more neutral appearing colors for everyday, general use and versatility in blending with a variety of everyday clothing.

Flattering, functional, Relieves my Plantar Fasciitis
This style is the “Seville” (convertible heel strap) in the “Norwegian Would” print. Isn’t it gorgeous? I’m an RN who works 12 hr shifts, but I’m on my feet more like 16+. Alegria has always been kind to my plantar fasciitis-inflicted feet, and the Seville is no exception. Comfortable, flattering, fun to wear (lots of compliments!) - highly recommend. Love the added security of a heel strap, and it’s required on my unit (can’t wear open backs in the traditional clog design).

Strap doesn’t work
After only having for 6 months can no longer wear due to strap. It curls under the foot and doesn’t stay in place. I can’t walk fast or go up and down stairs now. They are super comfy as a slip on only but I bought these for work so now they are useless

whats happening?
Alegria these shoes are comfortable but dont feel the shock absorption your original shoes had! I think its only half the thickness of your clogs you made before? Also the plaid looked way better in the picture if I had seen these in a store would not have gotten I would have liked them to have some actual color they look like solid color unless someone is close up!Maybe I will change my review because sometimes I can wear something more to change my initial reactionIm sad to try another style I used to live on their clogs. Did someone buy them out?

Not as described.
The description says suede leather upper, but it’s not. The decorative area over the top of the foot is cheap polyester fabric. I needed these to work in the lab where leather would be chemical resistant. Fabric won’t work in the lab, so I’m returning them.Side note: I usually wear a 41 in Alegria shoes, but sized up to a 42 so that I could wear socks with them. The size was perfect with socks.

Good grip even when floors are wet.
Very comfortable shoe. The right shoe makes a squeaky noise when I walk, but the left shoe stays quiet. Not a deal breaker for me because my feet have to be comfortable for the long shifts. I haven’t had any issues with these while walking on wet floors which is a huge plus for me. Other brands have had me skating on a wet floor. Not these! I wasn’t sure how water proof these would be but I treated them with the same water proofing stuff I use on my Ugg boots and now I don’t have to worry about it!I also love that you can buy replacement insoles for these shoes to make them like new again and extend the life of the shoe.

Not wearing well.
I like Alegria shoes and have a few pairs. These are size 39. I had ordered a size 38 from Alegria site and they did not fit. Since they were on sale, I just sold them to a friend instead of returning to Alegria. These were $117.00 (compared to the $69 I spent on Alegria and they were sold out). I have had these for 1 week and worn about 3 or 4 days at times. The cover on the tops are flaking off already. I am pretty disappointed and need to find out if I can return.
