Don't trust the listed current rating - not a great overcurrent protection device.
I purchased this expecting a 50A breaker - that's what the rating says. I understand that in order to trip, current in excess of 50A must flow for a certain amount of time. What they don't tell you ahead of time is what the chart included with this breaker says. Significant excess current must flow for a long time before this breaker will trip. At that point, whatever wiring or circuit you're trying to protect will likely be fried.Take a look at the chart that's included with the breaker. In my case, I have a 50 Amp breaker. According to the chart, if 75 Amps (50% more than rating) are flowing, it can take between 30 seconds and 150 seconds for the breaker to trip (the hashed area in the chart). If current flow is just 20% over the rating (60 Amps), it could take between 150 seconds and "never" to trip. Not really a great overcurrent protection device.

Not worth it
The media could not be loaded. 8 months since purchased and installed, This superior 50 Amp breaker is cheap made and obviously NOT waterproof , it never has direbt contact with salt water , but it's rusted out just from being in the saltwater environment (in my console on my boat )... save the money and spend it on a unit that is sealed and that has stainless hardware ... it is far from "Superior" and if I could have given it 0 stars 🌟 I would have ..And unfortunately I can't return it 😕

Dead the first time it got a bit wet.
I started off really liking this breaker. It felt solid and was easy to flip the switch or hit the reset. However, after I installed it and everything was working fine we had a rain storm. The breaker didn't even get directly wet but there was a lot of moisture all over the wiring. Despite being labeled "waterproof" the breaker stopped working. Will only let a small current through when closed. Sadly, the hole in the panel is already cut and I can't find another one that fits so I'll have to order the same item again and hope I have better luck with water this time! Maybe putting silicon around the seams will protect it... You've been warned!

Recommended on Solar Installs, so I tried them--happy with them so far
I built a 42kWh battery bank, with three 16S 280Ah Lifepo4 batteries. The three groups are connected to three of these breakers and then summed to a bus bar.The breakers appear to be of good quality and work well. Easy to switch them off for servicing, just push the yellow button. Easy to reset, too. The connections are heavy duty and use 3/8" studs, so make sure you order batter cables with 3/8" lugs or you'll need to drill them to the correct size.

This This Is AWESOME!
This is a great little circuit breaker for use with air suspension or custom lighting. What’s great is they protect the system and you can cut power to it in case you need to jump another vehicle or yours. That way you do not take a chance of harming the systems.

This handles the load.
I used this breaker on the 12v supply of the 2000w inverter in my my motorhome. So far it's working perfectly. I tried 2 different breakers of another brand in the exact same application and neither one would work for more than a minute or two when I ran my microwave. That's about a150 amp draw. This one hasn't popped yet so I'm a happy camper.

Great circuit breaker!
Great little circuit breaker for the price. I used it in place of the factory fuse that came with my winch. When I use my winch I abuse it and the factory fuse would let it overheat to the point where it would not stop running. With this installed I have no more worries, it pops at just the right time. I’m not talking about popping early either, this little breaker goes right up to breaking point then trips. The good thing about this breaker is that it’s small and you can stop the current with just a push of the button. It’s water proof so no need to worry about wet weather or water from the car wash. Bottom line is this breaker is worth the price and works flawlessly.

Feels solid in the hand
This worked very well in my 100ah solar generator. I used it for the in line fuse for my inverter. I only ran a small amount of amps through it thus far, but I don't have any reason to question is ability to handle the 100 amps that I'll eventually try to draw through it. The trip/reset levers feel sturdy and work flawlessly when pressed. Feels good quality in the hand.

some stainless rust
Just got it have not installed it yet just noticed a review saying it rusts. Some stainless will rust, not every stainless will take salt water enviroment well. For this reason get some di-eletric grease and coat all the connectors and even put a dab onto visable screws and none of them should rust. di-eletric grease is thick and will stay where you put itand will not prevent wires from conducting as long as there is minimal clamping force. Saves haveing to wire brush connectors later. I started on my boat and now do it on vehicles as well. I will not be able to review function till I have had it for a year or more.

Easy to install. Should do the job.
Installed to protect a new trolling motor which did not come equipped with an inline fuse or breaker. Installation was easy and the breaker does disconnect power when manually tripped.Hopefully it will be one of those items that you forget about as it will not have a reason to trip. Very inexpensive insurance to protect sensitive electronics.I would purchase again.
