Auto on/off with tools is great. Suction is powerful. It’s SO quiet! I use it mostly with handheld sanders, and there’s almost NO residual dust left behind. I’m very impressed.

The media could not be loaded. I hate sanding and this made it better. I cannot believe how easy this was to set up and use. I am a garage shop woodworker who will never have a dedicated space that will allow the set up of a fixeddust collection system, this is a great mobile dust collection system. Lately every weekend I felt as though I had been inhaled so much sawdust. Today after using this dust collector I feel like my hobby is healthier. A really great investment!

I am a occasional home workshop guy not a professional worker. This vacuum works with most of the Festool line of wood working tools. I use it with my sanders, router, and plunge cut saw. The CT 26E provides the power to the tool and automatically starts when the tool is triggered. The individual Festool toolboxes clip to the top of this vacuum. The design of the system of tools is such that there is virtually no dust from the process. There are several sizes of this product available. I choose this one because it was easy to store in my home workshop as it is smaller than the others. I was very impressed with the very low dust levels I’m my garage workshop. It is expensive as are all the Festool line of tools. My experience is that, once you have this, adding the other tools is much easier.

I don’t write many reviews. I took a chance spending this much on a vacuum and it was worth it. Fantastic unit.

My husband bought this for work and loves it. Used it at home and there is not dust! Worth the buy!

I bought this for my wife to refinish furniture and it’s been the best investment we could’ve made. The adjustable fan speed makes all the difference in the world when choosing the right suction for sanders. If you have too much suction, your sander will leave “pigtails” in the finish and Festool virtually eliminated this problem by giving you variable fan speed. If you’re on the fence about this unit, dont be afraid to make the investment in your own health (because of the hepa filtration) and also the overall quality of your work. We have had zero buyers remorse. Work hard, have fun, and create beautiful things for the glory of God.

Though this is a very pricy option, it works like a charm and is very well made.I'd Highly recommend it.
