I bought this just as a spoon for soup, ice cream etc. It's unique and has me written all over it so I decided to give it a try. I knew it was smaller and not a big wooden spoon for cooking or anything which is why I wanted it. As you can tell from my picture I did a comparison next to a regular spoon, it's not big so do not make the mistake of thinking your getting a big wooden antler spoon for the kitchen. Mine accidentally went through the dishwasher!! It did not split surprisingly but did lighten the color of the wood. Do NOT put it through the dishwasher. One more trip through I'm not sure how well it will do for the obvious reason It's REAL wood so just quick rinse immediately after use, dry it, and put it away and it will last! Weird to hold at first but get used to it quickly. I love it!! Beautiful piece and fun to eat with.

I'd say it's child size if it were to be used as a spoon for eating. I think it's ideal for coffee or honey but I didn't get it for me. I gave this to my best friend and he loves it so much he doesn't want to use it.

This was a Christmas gift to my best friend who has a spoon collection. I thought it would be a great idea to gift her this as well as she loves anything that has to do with camo/country/hunting. She absolutely loved it and it is now hanging in her spoon case. The spoon itself is maybe a little bigger than a standard size pen. The finishing on the spoon was beautiful it's stained a very rich brown. I was worried with the top part (antler) that it would chip or break during shipping but it was wrapped in bubble wrap inside a box by the seller which was nice to see when I opened it. Very beautiful.

Smaller than it looks in salad picture. More like a small tea stirrer. But is super cute and real wood

It was way small when I saw it I got the impression it was a larger spoon...like mixing cookie dough....its barely big enough to eat soup with

It's so beautiful. I don't even want to use it anymore. It is soft to the touch and very well made.
