First of all the wonderful cedar smell brings back fond memories. I decided to try it as I had a few clothes moths late last Fall show up in the one bedroom; and after identifying what they were, I was afraid maybe they had gotten into the closet. After reading good customer reviews for this product, I ordered it and some cedar blocks. I was impressed that it was made in the USA and was all natural with no harmful ingredients.While waiting for it to arrive, I washed and dry cleaned everything in the closet seeing only 2 male moths which I killed. As soon as everything arrived, I sprayed the blocks placing them around in the closet. And hung up a clothes moth trap. Since nothing showed up in the trap after awhile, I placed everything back in the closet leaving just the cedar blocks for protection. AND there have been no moths in the closet since!Its so easy to use and it goes a long way. The scent is heavenly, and I think it lasts for quite awhile. You can lightly sand the blocks to refresh the scent. I've been doing that, then lightly re-spraying.With warmer weather, some moths have hatched and are back in another part of the house; I've set some moth traps up for them. And last night I decided to also lightly spray some of cedar spray along where the carpet meets the wall they seem to settle on. AND no moths appeared last night. But then I wondered if the cedar spray might be harmful to my two elderly cats.So, late yesterday evening I emailed Colton's with my concerns. I was so surprised when checking emails this morning to have an answer from the owner of the Company in less than 8 hrs. What great customer service; sadly lacking in so many other companies today. I think we decided that the spray being all natural would be safe around pets unless they showed signs of being allergic to it. They seemed OK with a light spray along the floor! I don't plan to use it like an air freshener. Even if I ever get rid of the moths, I'll continue to use this product just for me to enjoy the scent.Anyway, I am pleased to recommend this brand of cedar spray made here in the USA by a family owned business with great old-fashioned service.

I like the fragrance and lack of harshness if this product! Prior to this I went to Lowe’s and bought mothballs and I thought they were going to kill me! I put them down late evening one night and immediately the gas that was put out from them was so intense I took them to my garage and the owner would not even get out of my nose and the next day even after I return them to Lowe’s I could not get the mothball odor out of my trunk it was so repulsive and toxic smelling! My clothing has had holes in it and so I’m figuring I have mioths In my closet and said that is the problem I’m trying to tackle. I put this oil on some cedar wood rings and hang them over by hangers and when I walk into my closet smells awesome not too strong but just enough of a fragrance. Thank you so much for this product I will be ordering more!

I think the spray is a good starting point if you are trying to eradicate moths.I sprayed some cedar hanger tags bc sanding seemed not to work, or at least I could not smell the cedar when I lightly sanded them. I think the spray smells great, and although it doesn't seem to last long (the smell), I also didn't have to use much to spray the tags, so I will just do it again in a month or so.Didnt seem toxic at all. I think people think this is supposed to be the only thing to help with moths, but that's not fair. I think using this in conjunction with moth ball hangers and lavender is the way to go.I'm completely satisfied with the spray and will use to finish and refresh a trunk I'm refurbishing to put blankets in.

Easy to use on old cedar blocks. I particularly like the lavender scent in addition to the cedar.

The product is overall good. I bought it to spray on the cedar rings on my hangers, however it does not have a strong cedar sent after it dries. I do not know if it is the spray or the cedar rings not absorbing the smell. I even tried sanding the rings first. I also use quite a bit of spray and the sent still isn't what I had hoped for. This is not to say that you should not buy this product because for what it is worth, it is good quality and not sure that there is a better option out there.

I'm storing away my toddler's baby clothes and was happy to find this spray bottle since both cedar and lavender are a great natural alternative to certain pests (like moths and carpet beetles - of which I haven't seen any at home but i'm storing them in the basement so you never know...). This was my first time purchasing from this seller, and the moment I sprayed my cedar blocks with this spray I could smell the purity (read: quality) of the essential oils. I should clarify that prior to spraying them, my blocks no longer had a strong cedar smell and i was too lazy to sand them down to release their natural scent. It's been 3 weeks since storing said cedar blocks with the clothes, and when I opened the boxes today to check, I'm happy to say that the cedar/lavender smell is still present but not overpowering whatsoever. Very happy with my purchase - two thumbs up!

I ordered this so that I can refresh my cedar drawer liner planks when needed. The smell is great, very natural and just as it should be, Cedar-like :-) The spray bottle works good to evenly coat the wood. Seems the company cares about their product and goes the extra mile to provide you info they feel you need as you use the product. I was happy they made little notes like “shake well” and reminded you to let the would dry before putting clothing on it, so as the oil doesn’t stain anything. I also put a pretty thick coat on several planks and expected to have used up quite a bit and was pleasantly surprised that I barely made a dent in the bottle so it looks like it’ll last a long time. Happy with the purchase.
