Actually bought this to wrap dead batteries. We produce enough that I wanted to make sure not to start a fire.Tape has a nice and thick body, adhesive is what you would expect.

Good quality electric tape. Will buy again.

It doesn't feel as sticky when applying the tape but it adheres pretty good.
