There are Better
I bought this because of the company that makes them. I've used, and still have Shunyata cables in my system. But this usb is just a step above a printer usb cable. To me the sound is dark and muddy and adds nothing to the music. Not their best. Look to Kimber, Audioquest or Pangea for more detail ,openness and sound stage. Now you can spend way more money for the boutique cables and the difference is like comparing apples and cinder blocks. But for my ear the Shunyata venom is a dud.

Great sounding cable for USB Audio
I use this cable with a variety of USB DAC’s and my Surfacepro 3 running as a music server and it sounds excellent.To those that believe cables don’t matter: Isochronous audio transfers are not like running an HDD or printer off of USB. There is no error correction or packet retransmission in Isochronous USB. Audio is transferred in real time so cable performance does matter. The Shunyata Venom is well built and is a good entry point into the world of high performance digital playback.

For the price, better than the Wireworld Starlight 7 USB 2.0 1Meter Flat Cable. How? The Venom has more insight and is better tonally balanced. The wireworld is a bit colder signature; this one is just right.
