Let me start off by saying that I really love the design, it is absolutely adorable. I bought it as a gift for my nephew and I can not wait for him to use it. The material is pretty thick and seems to be durable. There are a lot of suction cups at the bottom. The only thing that I would want to change is for it to be longer.

I love this bathtub mat! It is so cute. It has suction cups covering the bottom and textured top so it stays in place to make it non slip. We bought it for our son who’s too big for his baby tub and is taking baths in the whole bathtub now.

The mat even after laying in the hot sun for a couple of days still won't lay flat, the suction cups are small and do not hold. It still curls up at the end that was the inside of the roll. The whole thing comes loose all the time. Try giving kids a bath!?!?!?!? NOOO as soon as you fill the tub it starts popping up & floating off the bottom of the tub. We have cleaned and scrubbed the tub & tried everything, just doesn't stick down.

I’m just relieved that we finally found a bathmat that sticks to the bottom of our awkward tub and doesn’t get moldy within a week. I feel like we’ve been going through bathtub mats at the same rate that we go through diapers, So it’s nice to finally have one for more than a week without having to head back to Amazon. Along with the suction, the size of this mat is perfect too because it doesn’t take up the entire floor of the bathtub. That means I’m not playing Russian roulette every time I step into the s morning. Best of all, my kid loves it and it’s a nice change from the plain old boring gray or blue ones we would usually get. Eventually I’m sure we’re going to need to replace it, but I’m confident that will we will head back and get the same one again.

On the surface, this product works as intended. It's cute, sized appropriately for a standard sized tub, and provides plenty of grip. I had it in my house for all of 36 hours before I just could not handle the very off putting smell the mat omitted. I thought that a day or 2 might help air it out, but the smell never dissipated in the time I owned it. For this reason alone, I returned it. One other thing: the way it is packaged creates a noticeable and defined crease at one end of the mat, (see photo) that even after stacking heavy objects on the mat overnight did nothing to flatten out the fold. 1 star for this user.

I bought this product because my almost 1 year old daughter will be transitioning to the regular tub and I wanted something to prevent her from sliding around. I love the look of the mat but it smells horrible...like a strange skunky plastic smell. I thought the smell would dissipate after a few days but it's been almost two weeks and I can still smell it every time I walk in the bathroom! It was also wound so tight during shipping that I can't get it to lay flat or stick to the bottom of the tub... :/

Awful awful strong chemical smell. I left it in the bath overnight in water with bleach but didn’t help. Then I let it air outside for a week, no difference. The whole house smelled of this plastic mat. It’s the kind of smell you don’t want to breathe in. I can only imagine what the poor people who make this are experiencing. We threw it away because we couldn’t get rid of the smell. Big disappointment as we did like it otherwise. I would recommend you don’t spend your money on this item.

Our kids really like this bath Mat, we have had it for a little over two years and it has yellowed, and the painted figures have faded despite cleaning as directed in the instructions. It does stick well, the suction is strong enough that I often hang it on our tile wall to dry out when I clean the bathtub.
