Train Station Sticker Activity Book (Dover Little Activity Books Stickers)

This is a great little sticker book to keep the kids occupied. I bought a bunch to keep my 4 & 1.5 year old occupied in lineups at Disney, and they both enjoyed them. My 4 year old liked having the picture background to place stickers on and make a scene and my 1.5 year old (who is obsessed with stickers) loved just peeling and sticking. The stickers are able to be taken off and put back on again as well. The book is TINY though. Smaller than I imagined even after reading the reviews, but it makes it easy to carry around. For the price, its completely worth it. There are 2 pages of stickers that can be pulled out, then the inside of the front/back cover of the book is the background to put the stickers onto.

But worth for money what we should pay

I bought this to throw into my diaper bag while traveling with my train-obsessed 2.5 year old. I figured this book would be fun for him when I needed an easy-to-carry distraction. I wound up pulling it out once, when my husband and I were trying to eat but our son was totally uninterested in the meal. I thought it might keep him occupied long enough for us to finish our food. It helped a bit, but to be honest, it didn't keep his interest very long, and he didn't enjoy it as much as I'd hoped.Here's a breakdown of the good and the bad:First of all, they really mean the "little" in Dover Little Activity Book brand name - the book is a bit smaller than a 4x6 photo. It's made up of a cute little train tracks/train station/countryside sort of background scene spanning the inside of the covers, and a couple of pages of removable, reusable train, car, and people stickers that can be placed on the background pages to fill in the scene. The stickers are indeed removable and reusable (though they can tear when handled by a not-entirely-gentle toddler). There are plenty of stickers to keep a little one interested. However, because the book was so small, there's really only room for a few stickers at a time. That became a problem in a fairly short time. My little guy got very frustrated when he wanted to line up several train cars on the pictured tracks, but ran out of room to place them on the page.If the book had been just a bit bigger, I think my son would have found less frustration and more enjoyment. Even changing the orientation (having the "spine" along the shortest edge, so the book opens into a longer, narrower scene) would have helped. As it was, this little book kept my toddler busy for just a little while before he lost patience with its tiny size. If you're looking to keep a little one busy with a quiet activity for no more than 5-10 minutes at a stretch, this'll do the trick. If you're hoping for a bit more, this little book probably isn't for you.

These are darling, but they're very, very small. You get what you pay for...

Good amount of stickers presented well. It is a small book with a small amount of stickers, but also inexpensive. Good size to bring along to keep the toddler occupied.

the book is nice, vintage looking graphics, definitely unique original illustrations, colors are muted and watercolor/ ink looking technique - but it's only 4 pages in a tiny book. i'd hope it would have more contents for the money. at 2 dollars per book it makes it more of a regular child gift than a party favor. well, at least i will have this elegant fancy little book in the favor bags for kind (train themed party)

These little sticker books are wonderful! I took my 18 month on a 6 hour plane ride and these kept him entertained for much of the trip. I would have given this 5 stars however it claims that the stickers are reusable and unfortunately this is nowhere near an accurate description. The first time we bought them we left the stickers on the book for a few days and when we took them off, pretty much all of the "stickiness" was gone. We liked them so much that we bought more for another trip and tried to take them off immediately after our son was done playing with them. This did help a bit, but in no way would I describe them as reusable! When I purchased several of these they were $1.50 each with a 4 for 3 amazon promotion. I thought this was well worth purchasing them again however I noticed recently that the price has more than doubled!!! I will probably not purchase them again unless the price goes back down or they actually become reusable somehow.

My four year old sits quietly with these and plays by herself for a very long time which anyone knows is worth it's weight in gold. This is the second child I have used these with and both loved them. They last a very long time even through lots of reuse, they are very cheap, take up almost no room in the bag and kids love them. What more could you ask for? We have several of these so I'm putting this review on each of them. This one in particular along with the nativity and the one that looks like Sea World are a little bit tricky to work with because there are too many things that the kids want to put all in the small space. This doesn't matter as much with the other ones because you are making different scenes but with these ones they seem to want to put everything one at once.

Lovely sticker but it's small, it was a quick impulse purchase and I didn't read the description but it's smaller than I would have preferred.

Great travel toy to keep a small one occupied. Small and compact so it doesn't take up room. The stickers re-stick well although some of them do tear after being pulled at too often.Won't last long, but good for the odd train trip or plane trip.

not alot to say about this mini sticker book, kept son happy on train for half and hour or so, good value for money

Beware, although this is classed as a small book I didn't expect it to be minute. Far too small for me. Content not great either, there are lots more sticker activity books out there and better value for money

If I could have seen this so called book (it's more like a pamphlet) I would not have paid £1 for it. It is tiny and the stickers so small they have screwed up.
