I Love this Book!!!!
This juicing recipe book is G-R-E-A-T because:-There are 365 recipes-The recipes are easy to follow and taste good-The recipes are organized by the type of fruit and vegetable you want to use-The book teaches you how to prepare the fruits and vegetable-The rating system for each recipe allows you to choose by benefit-There are four easy to follow juicing programs for juicing basics, detox, immunity, and fasting-There are recipes recommended by ailments such as diabetes, stress, arthritis, water retention, and even PMS (plus about 60+ other ailments).-The recipes list all the nutrients included-It includes an index of nutrients and recommends fruits, vegetables, and other foods that will give you a boost of each nutrient. The nutrient list tells you the combination of vitamins and minerals needed so the body can absorb them more efficiently. The nutrient list also tells you how each nutrient works in the body.I've always tried to commit to eating more fruits and vegetable but they just end up rotting in the fridge. The book is organized by tabs with a picture of the fruit or vegetable on it; I can easily pick a recipe by the leftovers I have before they go bad.I also love this book because a lot of the juicing books tend to be geared for those who are vegan/vegetarian and plan to incorporate a "juice-only" lifestyle. This book is way more practical, non-preachy, and keeps me excited to try all the different juice combinations.

Although, I'm a "virgin juicer", my doctors told me to eat 9 servings vegetables & 2 fruits a day; that would be more than a challenging task. So,I researched ALL the juicers on the market, ask my Juicer Friends and saw Martha Stewart rave about this one on her TV show. The only funny part of this is she had to almost scream over the activited juicer to be heard. But the price and noise are worth it. When it arrived, my husband called me and ask if I had ordered a "wood chipper" for our home. It's larger than most,quite imposing and itimidating sitting proudly on the counter but it's super EASY & FAST to clean, high quality quality materials,juices beautifully and super fast delivery of your chosen juice. The best juice book I purchased (also from Amazon) is The Big Book of Juices and Smoothies by Natalie Savona. It categorizes each of the juices/smoothies regarding their nutrients and benifits on a 1-5 star scale: Energy, Detox, Immunity, Digestion and Skin. Since I've only juiced daily for 2 months, most of the juice recipes are good. However, the worst tasting called "Black Mud" although the nutrients are rated mostly 4-5 stars,the author in a delirious state of mind said "not the most appetizing but makes up for that in taste and some unbeatable health benifits" 3 and 4 Star categories are just fine with me, thank you, Natalie.

Good for starters, not too complex
Since I just recently bought my first juicer, I wanted a simple book to help me get started. I think this is a great book for beginners. It lists some wonderful combinations and some not so great ones (I am NOT a fan of drinking watercress, and much rather prefer parsley, lol). It's all about learning though, right? The recipes are organized well focusing on a main ingredient for a few pages. The glossary in the front is very informative and the index in the back helps you find juices made with your favorite fruits or veggies. I also like how under each recipe it is rated 1 to 5 stars for: Energy, Detox, Immunity, Digestion and Skin. This is really helpful if you are trying to go for something more than the other, and also to warn you not to drink too many "detox" ones by accident ;) I didn't use a lot of the smoothie recipes since I was using the book mainly for my new juicer but the ones I did try were very straight forward and easy to create, as well as yummy!Great book for starting out, nothing too complicated, informative, and well organized.

A weekly go-to book for ideas and information
First off: I don't juice anymore, I blend to get fiber and more nutrients. That being said, this is still my go-to book several times a week. A quick explanation of what this book has and can do for you: 1. Recipes list health benefits: vitamins, minerals, key nutrients with a star-rating system for energy-boosting, detoxing, immunity-boosting properties, digestive system, skin 2. An information section with common health ailments and suggested juices/smoothies to help combat these ailments 3. An easy to thumb through style book that lays flat 4. Recipes organized several ways: color-coded chapters (juices, smoothies, quenchers, ailments) or by the specific fruit/vegetable via the index or picture on each page.

Recipes for everything!
This book is so well organized it is very easy to find what you want by what you have on hand. The pages have a picture on the edge of the main ingredient so if I want to use some beets I just look in that section and there you go with lots to choose from. Also divided between fruit juices, say oranges, which you use a little juicer made for oranges or lemons, to vegetable juices which you use your big juicer and then smoothies which I do in the blender. I love this book, I have several but this is the one I always use. I really don't need any other books. Lots of tips and lists of things you need to have around if you're a serious juicer or even not. I would highly recommend it.

This book has so many great recipes, love it. I like how the recipes are categorized by vegetable/fruit and an easyindex at the back that you can use to decide what to juice based on what is in your fridge. Awesome and well worth the bucks
