Used on a Pocket Door
My house has pocket doors whose locks don’t line up that well anymore. I got tired of adjusting them depending on the climate (extreme heat or humidity) and installed one of these. It keeps the door “locked” so I have privacy and was very easy to install. *I installed mine on the side of door frame that the door slides in. Drilled the hole in the door itself for the pin and attached the lock to the door frame. The pin sticks out far enough to prevent anyone from sliding the door in to the pocket.

I had to make my own hole to add this to a lock. But it secured the window lock so much more . Added peace of mind

This product is definitely not for glass sliding doors, the pin is way too short. Product differs from what purpose the manufacturer say it works.
