These straws are excellent! They lasted for hours in our cocktails, wine, and blended drinks. After hosting many events with other branded paper straws, I'm happy to have found a company that created them to last without any unraveling, tears or sogginess. Definitely recommend and will be re-ordering soon.

Intellectually, we loved the idea of paper straws. We do not have to think about a straw that will out-live our great grandchildren; no unnecessary waste filling the landfills.Unfortunately, in practice, these straws did not remain rigid long enough for most of our customers to finish their drinks. Outlast great grandchildren? No, but they might possibly outlast a most rapid procreational act.We touted our compostable PLA cups and effort to be “Green” but customers grew weary of limp straws.

While on vacation in Florida, I used dozens of paper straws. Some didn’t last 10 minutes. I got one of these wider diameter straws with a smoothie I purchased at a farmers market. I was so impressed that I kept the wrapper so I could look them up for purchase when I got home. Unfortunately, I have no need for (nor room to store) 2,000 straws - especially since I have several thousand of another brand I had to buy in bulk recently - but when those are gone (in like 10 years!!) I will definitely purchase these, and in the meantime, I will recommend them to any businesses looking to make the environmentally sound choice to switch to paper. If you use cheap paper straws, you will hate paper straws. Be aware that not all brands are created equally and there are good options like Karat straws out there to consider before writing off paper straws completely.
