Because I need ankle support, I wear these shoes all the time. I never buy anything else. They give good support and I can barely walk without them. Most trainers like these don't come as far up over the ankle. They now come in several colours, and recently I ordered a pair of blue suede looking ones, same design. But although they look nice, they are not quite as sturdy as the black or white ones I usually wear, when I compare them.Over recent years, I have seen a more rapid deterioration in the shoes. They don't last quite as long, and they are not waterproof.

Have been buying these shoes over the last 20 years and they have always been perfect. So because of that, for the first time ever, I ordered them online confident they will be ok. Unfortunately, this pair seem very tight where the laces thread and hurt the bone in my foot. I was so sure they would be ok that I threw all packaging and the invoice away and wore them to my aerobic class. They hurt so much I am worried to put them on again. So because I have worn them, I cannot return them and have wasted £40.

Great trainers but come up very small I'm a size 3 and ordered a size 4 but they were still too small so I would need a 5
