Great very fine sand surface holds layers of pastel for atmosphere and depth of colour, able to blend colour on the surface without it falling off as dust, I love working on it. Just a sample of my lates pastel paintings, the photos are a little dark as flash just reflected back too much light.

Beautiful paper to work with. Just a shame they don't seem to make it in a larger pad format. And, it's a shame that it is so expensive, compared to other papers like Pastel Mat.

Great product. I've tried other papers for my pastel work, but nothing comes close to this.

I returned the product because I wanted white, not multicoloured

Too agressive texture. It eats up my pastels. Could be that I don't know the painting technique to paint on it's surface properly.

Satisfaite

This is the best pastel paper I have used. I can layer color upon color on it, and it holds it all. Even with harder pastels, where I sometimes have to press hard to get some color to lay down, the gritty surface of this paper pulls it off the stick effortlessly. It's also thick and sturdy paper, like card stock. It's the most expensive of the paper pads, but Amazon seems to have the best prices for it.
