Carbon fiber is flawless, the hard hat is really comfortable, well made and protects well. the hat has already saved my head a few times now on construction sites. I always get complimented on the look. Matte black is the way to go!

The only dislike that I have is that in hot weather this hard hat is not for you. You should probably have a lighter color, like white hard hat . Other than that it’s a fantastic hardhat .

For the price I would expect the rubber pieces on the brim to be glued in place, they aren't, they just slip on and off, like all the time.Also there is a large sticker under the brim in the rear that is not removable it is really exposed and should be inside the hat like it is on other hats.The liner on the headband looks like leather, it's not. It has some foam padding behind it that absorbs sweat and stinks horribly. I had to remove the headband and scrape that foam off and throw it away, the stench was unbearable. At this price point it should have real leather lining.

I am enjoying my DAX matte black carbon fiber hard hat. It appears a dark sienna (brown) to me in the picture as well as when I received it which is just what I wanted. It attracted attention and interest at the job site. It is very comfortable to wear as well. I had a couple of minor issues that Texas America Safety Company responded to quickly and provide optional resolutions. Every time I emailed the company they promptly replied back - even on a Saturday! I would not hesitate to purchase again from TASCO and I highly recommend them to my friends. I recently added a logo using at local sign which increasing the cool factor. It’s nice that it comes with its own quality carrying bag.

For years I have used a fiber, full brim hard hat, saw this one and decided to give it a try. Light weight, comfortable to wear all day, terrific support harness, great product.

Good looking hard hat. Light weight but the dark color may be a little warm in the summer heat. I make sure and point out to my buddy’s that this is true carbon fiber, not the molded and “dipped” plastic hats they are wearing😂😂. For the price, I do not plan on wearing it everyday, throwing it on the ground etc...I will add it to my arsenal and wear it on the projects I don’t get physically involved in....

I love that this hard hat is carbon fiber. It’s a bit heavy, but it holds up better than Resin. I used to work with Carbon fiber, Building micro aerial vehicles for special forces in Afghanistan. Its Repetitive impact resistance is not the best, Kevlar is better for that but it’s not Hard enough for a hat. Plastic is a pretty good Alternative but who wants to put more plastic into the Environment??? :D I love that this helmet is all Orange it’s bright so people can see me and it’s cool in south Florida.
