Very disappointed! The width of 2 inch was not wide enough to accommodate my smallest succulent. I then tried a small and thin cactus, but the root ball wouldn’t squeeze in.It’s beautifully made and looks wonderful. But this can only hold very small roots and tiny plants.Since it is beautiful made, I plan on buying tiny fake plants and keeping it in my bathroom as decoration.The only way I can honestly recommend this, is if you use fake plants, or use it to start seedlings.Three stars was taken away due to lack of using it what it’s intended for. The two remaining stars are for how elegant it looks and how well made it is.I wish like other buyers, that I had read the reviews prior to purchasing.

Ridiculously small. I mistakenly did not read the reviews before purchasing this. Cannot even put plants in their or I would have to water it every day since it's so shallow and hardly hold any dirt. Pictures attached with a can of cat food for reference.

Using it for growing basil from seeds. Nice shape. Filed with growing medium, not potting soil. Did the job.I had read that the wooden tray tended to go bad because of the water from the drain hole. Covered mine with Saran Wrap, and the wood remains perfect.

Was a Christmas gift, going to look great with plants!

Needed something for window sill ledge and the width is perfect ! Love the bamboo drainage tray not that you water succulents excessively but no water residue underneath at all!

The perfect gift for anyone who is starting to build a terrarium. Great for succulents or animals beautifully made sturdier than I thought.
