These have eliminated any lure hook tangles I was experiencing with my tackle. They snap on and stay on great, and if you want to remove them I just use the eyelet that comes on them and press away from the lure and they come off reasonably easy. Be aware of where your thumb is when it gives way or you may hook yourself. My only gripe is that I wish you could order more of just one size. I have a bunch left over of some sizes and need more of other sizes. I don’t need a collection of unused hook covers!

Work great. You can grab a handful of lures without getting poked and you can grab lures without pulling out a tangled mess of multiple lures caught on each other. You can also toss lures straight in your pocket or backpack without it snagging your pocket or the backpack material which is great for letting them dry to prevent rusting before putting them back into your Plano box. Also if I hit salt water I will toss lures in my backpack so I can rinse them in warm water at home to get the salt off before putting them back in my tacklebox/Plano box. The two smaller sizes work great but the two larger sizes seem to not be long enough to cover the hook all the way to the point, (problem can be resolved by using the next size up except for my surface iron which uses the biggest size bonnet and still protrudes a bit) so the bigger sizes are good for keeping lures from getting all tangled up but not so great for protection from stabbing yourself or snagging your backpack/clothes. Fortunately pretty much all my treble hooks are on my freshwater lures and they all use the smaller ones that fit perfectly to the point where I could toss my lures in my pocket and not worry. Woulda been 5 stars if the largest size covered the hook points all the way.

Easy to put on and remove from hooks. The covers snap into place and stay on pretty good, keep hooks from scratching lure and from sticking things u don’t want stuck (like your hands).

I like to leave a rod or two already rigged up and ready to go by my door, but I've always hated that the hooks are exposed. I'd been meaning to buy these covers for a long time, finally took the plunge. They work perfect, just be sure to "click" the hooks into place past the little bump.
