Awkward to use.
I've always used Rii Mini N7 keyboards in the past, but with daily use the touchpads always seem to wear out after a year. I really like them but as Riitek no longer make them I was forced to look for something else. I previously tried a Rii i8 and white it felt quite good to type on I didn't like the mouse button layout.I thought I would give this mini keyboard a try, in all truth it's the worse thing I have ever used as a keyboard or mouse.Entering text on this keyboard was a truly unpleasant experience and for days I couldn't pinpoint why it was so nasty to type on and then I compared it to my older Rii N7. While the keys on the N7 and this keyboard are of a similar size, they keys on most Rii mini keyboards are aligned in a grid, the keys on this keyboard are staggered like a full sized keyboard and this makes a huge difference. Typing on a Rii keyboard is reasonably precise as your thumbs naturally follow the grid layout, as the small and stiff keys on this keyboard are staggered you continually accidentally hit adjacent keys. Also, unless the backlight is on the letters and symbols on the keys are quite hard to seeThe mouse touchpad is equally awful. Mutli-gesture touchpads are ok when they're implemented well or have software functions where you can turn gestures on or off, this has neither. The touchpad is overly sensitive to gestures so sometimes when you move the cursor at the top right of the screen it thinks your trying to drag, resize or minimise a window. Unless you keep a finger firmly on the touchpad it mistakenly detects right and left clicks.The battery life isn't that good either.
