FINALLY! The PERFECT Water Bottle!
UPDATE: I still love this water bottle and think it is the best one out there. I have had two of these for a year and half now and dropped them repeatedly (by accident) on the paved patio outside my house this summer while doing projects. I thought for sure that the plastic top would be shattered, but~ nope! So, they are shockingly durable. On both water bottles the inside 'automatic' latch on the flip top no longer stays closed, so the flip top can open on it's own, causing major spillage. This happened after dropping one on the pavement and I think the other one just wore out. However, I can still use the locking mechanism on the outside to keep the flip top closed when it's in my purse, etc. So, there is a built in back-up for this problem. The other thing that has worn out over time is the 'flip' spring. It no longer springs all the way open when I push the button. It does unlatch, but then I have to manually flip it open with my thumb, no big deal. Both of them also started to leak, but there is a perfectly good explanation for this that may apply to others that are saying theirs leak. As long as all 3 of the silicone gaskets are intact, it will not leak at all. On both of my water bottles, the tiny silicone gasket in the flip top lid that plugs the 'air' inlet hole is missing. I think they came off in the dishwasher. Before they went missing, there was zero leakage. You also have to be sure the 'ring' gasket in the screw-on part of the lid is not tweaked. Mine did that once and it was leaking until I put it back into it's slot.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Finally! All the best features in ONE water bottle! I am addicted to water. If I had to choose between taking my water bottle to town or my cell phone, I'd choose my water bottle. For years I have had to drink a lot of water due to a health condition, so I have tried many water bottles over the years. What I love: The mouthpiece/drinking hole is small and comfortable. I keep my water by my bed at night and frequently drink in the dark. There is no need to even be able to see it and still drink without spilling. Because the mouthpiece is shaped up like a tube, I can find it easily, and it's not so large I spill it down the front of me.With the push of a button, the top springs right open! It easily clicks back into place, all one handed. There is no 'plastic straw' drinking apperratis to grow bacteria or mold that you have to buy special tools to fit into just to clean. I hate the ones with the straw that go down into the bottle as well.It is really lightweight, unlike the glass bottles. There is zero bad taste or smell. It does NOT leak! One of the first that I have not had a single drop spill or drip 'sweat'.The bottle does NOT sweat and keeps drinks really cold for a really, really long time. Like all day long in a *hot* car on a 90 degree day. . Water from the refridgerator put into it in the morning still felt like it had just come out of the fridge. No ice was added, just the cold water and it stayed the same temperature for hours. It's a nice size and shape. It fits into the average cup holder perfectly.I plan on buying another one. I love these!

Excellent insulated steel bottle
I love this water bottle! I had their original plastic one for most of last year, which was also quite nice. I picked this bottle since it is insulated and claimed not to produce condensation. Right after I ordered it, I received an email from Embrava with care instructions in a PDF. First thing I noticed was the lack of a weird smell that so many of the plastic bottles and even other steel bottles have. I was very pleased.Unfortunately, my bottle was not operating as expected with the spring-opening of the lid. I contacted the seller for the second time, the first having been due to an issue with a code I had from their VIP program not working which was resolved speedily, and asked them about it. They apologized, asked for my order number and had a replacement bottle to me within a few days. They also had me keep the old one, which I was surprised at. Embrava's customer service is top-notch and I have always been taken-care of by them quickly and respectfully. On to the performance of the bottle. I have filled it with cold water and had it still be cold 5 hours later with no condensation on the exterior. I have yet to try it with ice but look forward to doing so. I am a wild land firefighter and have taken it out in my line gear on several prescribed burns. It weighs a little more then our issued quart bottles but has helped keep my hydrated with good-tasting, COLD water during the long days. It is always a pleasure to grab and drink from it. I would love to see it in the 32 oz size as well! Another quality product from Embrava.

Not shabby
It is a sleek looking bottle. That's a plus. The push-button lid functions as expected, though it feels a little cheap due to the simple pin and rubber band mechanism at the hinge.Though the body of the bottle is simple, it is comfortable to hold, being slim enough for my small hands. The spout has an interesting, trumpet-like flare at the tip, but I have not noticed any difficulty in drinking. The lid has a small air hole, which allows water to flow in a stream instead of in glugs. It comes with directions regarding cleaning and maintaining. The accompanying instructions also say this bottle is "NOT FOR USE WITH HOT LIQUIDS!" in all caps, and that it is only intended for cold liquids. I'm not sure how a vacuum-sealed bottle can only be intended for cold-keeping. I theorize that EMBRAVA SPORTS does not want people to sue them for getting burned, as they also point out that "Hot liquids can cause burns", as if some people are unaware. Can't blame them.Overall, the bottle is nice. However, I bought this for about $22, which is barely worth it. If I bought this for under $20 I would be ecstatic.

Rusting Issue Within a Month of Use
The inside bottom of the bottle has started to rust along with the outer rim of the bottle. Since this is a water bottle, it should not be rusting let alone within a month of purchasing. It has been 3 weeks of use and rust has already begun. Very disappointed since I actually really like the bottle and wish I could continue to use it.Besides the rust issue, the bottle is very well made between the design and the double walled insulation, which keeps whatever liquid inside of it very cold for long periods of time. The lid could be sturdier like the previous plastic Embrava bottle lid - which closed more securely. However, that is not a big issue since overall the bottle is better than the previous one, besides the rusting of course.
