quick delivery. Haven't installed yet UPDATES
I haven't installed this yet as Im trying to figure out the best way to connect to my Minil convertible (Im a large guy and it's difficult to crawl under the car lol). Looking forward to getting rid of those major blind spots. UPDATE - Just returned from Best Buy, "trying" to get it installed. After 4 hours of them trying to get it to work.... there's a problem. It initially turns on … for 3-5 seconds, then the picture gets all messed up. everything is grounded to the frame. even grounded the camera's bracket. wiring is all correct. The techs seem to think it might be a faulty unit. Not very happy at the moment. UPDATE - still haven't heard from the seller. Even sent a followup email to the add listed. Took the car to another installer. They couldn't get it to work either. So Sad. I guess I should have read the reviews a bit closer. Will not be buying anything else from this seller.

Falls short compared to others
I’ve bought and installed 4 backup cameras this year so far. This one is one of my least favorite. From a functional standpoint, it works, picture comes up and is ok quality (not the best I’ve seen), night vision works fine. Here’s what I don’t like about it:1. The screen is magnetic mounted to the suction cup mount for “easy removal and storage”. The problem with the design is the screen itself has about a 8-10” cord hardwired to it that goes and connects to the harness. This is problematic if you want your wires neatly tucked away. They should have had a standard jack plug in the back instead of this wire. Basically the whole point of the magnet mount is lost if you hardwire and don’t have a bundle of wire behind it on the dash.2. When not in use the screen displays “NO SIGNAL” in red letters. This is super cheesy to have constantly on displaying this when not in use. This isn’t an issue for hardwired units but my other wireless install did not do this, the screen just blanked out and wasn’t as distracting being up the whole time while driving.3. Overall, the picture quality is not as good as others (even some cheaper units). Occasionally has some fuzzy signal lines. Buttons are weird and are used for changing channels, which you only have one anyways...4. Camera bracket has tiny screws that aren’t able to be tightened down much, will likely come lose in the future without glue or something.Would not buy again. If you want a better quality wireless one, get the AUTO-VOX unit for the same price. I have installed that one and it doesn’t have any of these issues aside from the camera bracket.

easy in ease out
I have an electrical background. That made it much easier for me. I have a Trailblazer with factory installed electrical connection for a trailer with lights including BACK-UP. The guy at U-haul was a big help. I purchased a connector then read wiring diagram and had to run 2 wires about 12 inches long, I cut and painted a 2X2 about 6 inches long ( I had to cut off about 3/4 from width of 2X2 so it would fit inside trailer receiver) Before painting, I measured and drilled wood to allow a 5/16 bolt through hitch receiver. I purchased wood from lowes and used stainless steel to prevent rust. I bent bars on camera to allow bolt through, I used auto black primer to blend with trailer hitch. Works great no drilling auto or removing interior to run wires

Subpar Quality, Phoney Service, BEWARE SCAM
Purchased this model like most people for the good value, decent reviews, and slim design. Installed correctly wired into backup lights wire to turn on when transmission put into reverse (It's correct, I'm trained in electrical). Experienced connection and picture quality from the beginning...horizontal lines to flickering on off, to no picture at all from most to least frequent. Emailed company (who respond during East coast's evening so I assume are located in Asia) saying I needed warranty service and would like to try a replacement unit, instead they insisted on walking me through slow troubleshooting steps I had told them I had already tried from the user guide while taking weeks to respond and while my return window ran out (still under warranty tho), until not responding altogether. All along they would SAY how much they care and how much they are dedicated and blah blah blah, all hot air, actions speak louder than words. BEWARE, subpar quality product and Nonexistent service cloaked in a bunch of empty words about service. In short...SCAM.

A Real Good Aftermarket Backup System For Your Car
This is the way to go for an aftermarket backup camera system for your car. So simple to install behind your license plate with two screws and in my case I spliced into the reverse light wires on one side so it only comes in when the car is backing up. Then i got in the driver's seat plugged the monitor into a power outlet set it on the dash and it was ready to go. I put the car in reverse and immediately the monitor came in and showed perfectly clear a wide area behind me. My wife helped adjust the camera angle down so the grids were aligned. I tightened up the screws and it's all working perfectly. The best part is that the monitor is portable, so I don't have to leave it out on the dash on a hot day or in a parking lot, where it might tempt someone to break in to the car. This is a really good system, all the way around!
