The sand bags are sturdy and packed well. Each box has a variety of 14 colors and they are in resealable bags.

We did sand art bottles and sand art with glue. This was perfect for us. The bags were perfect for resealing and using again later. It seemed like a never ending supply of sand. Colors we’re great. So much variety. Would purchase again.

I have a 4 year old and a 6 year old; the kids spent almost 2 hours (yes, HOURS?!) playing with the sand. They practiced writing letters and words in the sand on the patio, put sand in their fairy gardens "to make the fairies happier", and then brought their little dolls outside to play in the colors. I also put out little jars for them to make layered sand bottles, but they spent almost two hours in an imaginary colorful world. Next time we will make little sand bottles with layers of sand in different colors (like we found on Pinterest). The clean up was very easy; just a little sweeping and that was it. The kids had a great time and this mom is happy to have another outlet for them to be imaginative and creative.

I bought this for my 9 year old who always likes to be doing something creative. He loved running his hands through all the different colors and making crafts. This kit comes with a lot of colors and he couldn't wait to mix them so he would have more sand to play with. We also did scavenger hunts with them by burying small toys in the sand and having him find them all. You could also use this for many other sand crafts. It's a great buy and a lot of fun!

I wanted to fill a glass light house wine bottle with red, white & blue. When I saw that I could get those colors as a ‘set’, I jumped on it! The sand is very fine and the colors are beautiful. The sand fit the bottle almost perfectly - I only have a ‘bit’ of the red left. I call that a win!

We wanted these for crafts with our kids - practicing art and handwriting in the sand, and some crafty fun. The colors are even better than I hoped they would be, while still keeping a natural, fine and non-clumpy feel. Seems like they will be easy to pour back into the bags and reuse. I'll add pics of our crafts as we get a chance!

Nice colored sand, but the one color I really wanted out of the 15 sent just HAD to be the one that broke open at the top and was leaking. REALLY irritating.
