These 4 large jars are a good value for money. If you're familiar with a ploughmans lunch then you'll know what this is. Tangy vinegar based pickle relish. Getting English food in the US can be problematical but Amazon comes through with this offering!

Good source of pickle that usedto eat in the UK

Product is great and well loved. Nice to geat easy access to a taste of home.But, though it arrived well packaged, the product was found damaged as we opened the box.No option to contact seller or request (partial) refund on the damaged jar, which sours the experiance a bit. Otherwise s’all good.

I'd say that if you've never tried Branston Pickle before, you may want to hold off on a large purchase until you've had the chance to try it out first. It is definitely something that you will either love or hate.I had it first while visiting a friend in England, and loved it instantly. My wife ... not so much. It's pickled vegetables in a thick brown sauce that is semi-sweet and ... well, very hard to describe. It pairs wonderfully with cheese (the traditional British "cheese and pickle" sandwich).This particular offering, four large bottles, comes at a reasonable price considering it's imported. Of course it's much cheaper in England but that doesn't help much; it's still a good value at the asking price in the US. But again, be sure you like it first; try to find a small jar in a specialty shop (it's not easy to find, though, outside of major market areas) to see if it's to your taste. Don't buy this "on spec."

Why would you put 4 jars in such a huge box with virtually no packaging support? 3 out of the 4 jars are delivered dented and no longer vacuum sealed at the cap from bouncing around in the box. It’s such a waste of product.

Fed up with paying a fortune for small.jars at World Market These jars are bigger and less expensive for genuine Branston Pickle. A staple of any Brit's larder.

A great accompaniment to meat dishes & sandwiches

Branston is great but this supplier didn't wrap them well enough and one broke. When I emailed them for a replacement or refund, they did not respond. This pickle is expensive enough in America, without having to pay for extra jars that are unusable.
