WE HAD A MOUSE INFESTATION IN THE LOFT, AN ELECTRICIAN REFUSED TO WORK IN THE LOFT AS A RESULT, SO I BOUGHT THE ABOVE MERRYL ULTRASONIC EMITTERS, THERE WAS A HUGE NOISE IT WASN'T NICE BUT AFTER A WHILE THE NOISE RECEDED AND THERE WAS CALM, THERE WAS A LITTLE AFTER EVACUATION SCRABBLING NOISES, BUT I SOON GOT RID OF THAT BY PLAYING CAT SOUNDS FROM ONE OF MY ECHO DOTS, THIS ONE IS SITUATED HIGH NEAR THE CEILING IN THE BATHROOM, AS IT IS NICE TO RECEIVE CALLS WHEN I OR MY WIFE IS IN THE BATH (THANKS TO AMAZON FOR CAT SOUNDS AND AMAZON ECHO CONNECT FOR HANDS FREE CHAT, CHECK IT OUT !!!! ) AS SOME PEOPLE KNOW IT IS NOT VERY NICE TO HEAR LOUD MICE OR RAT SOUND IN THE LOFT AT NIGHT WONDERING IF THEY ARE GOING TO COME INTO THE BEDROOM WHILE YOU ARE ASLEEP. BUT ALL GONE NOW, BUY THEM THERE ARE TWO OF THEM, PUT THEM IN THE LOFT, ONE AT EACH END OF THE LOFT AND THEY HAVE PULSATING BRIGHT LED LIGHTS AS MICE DON'T LIKE THAT EITHER. P.S. I HAVE RECOMMENDED THESE AND CAT SOUNDS TO MANY NEIGHBOURS AND FRIENDS.

Bought as a humane way to get rid of a mouse that I hadn’t actually seen just seen droppings.Since I’ve been using these there seem to be more droppings and I’ve just seen the mouse .... running directly towards where one of these is plugged in. Definite waste of money.

I can't say these made a difference as the cats are still finding mice (house cats)Can't recommend personally, buy can't say they won't work for you - I have an old house with thick walls so maybe that stops them being effective

Plugged them in and the mouse was gone. Didn't quite believe it but within a few days it seems to have done the job. Easy to fit and relatively inexpensive. Worked for me!

Light is ok serves as a night light in kitchen but is annoying in bedroom as bright. Took a few weeks for scratching noise to go so assumed the device worked.

Why did we not know about this before?!Living in country, we always have mice problem-& this will save us an absolute fortune

The top plug prong (earth) came out the first time we used it. Cannot comment as to it effectiveness of I can't plug it in safely.

Absolutely Useless!Found a mouse in my porch, I’m loathed to use poisons so opted to try these. My porch is only small so should be easily covered by the sound waves produced.Actually found said mouse sat on top of the device.... do NOT waste your money.
