El cochino blanco y otros cuentos: An SSR book for Spanish 2/3 (Spanish Edition) Paperback – January 21, 2014

The stories are ok. They are all a bit cheesy and not very exciting BUT better than what I could come up with so I guess they are ok.I was hoping that each story would focus on a certain grammar concept. I was also hoping for questions after each story to check for comprehension. I will have to create those on my own. I do like the fact that there are so many different stories in the book. I think that it would be a good idea to have my students write an alternate ending to the various stories.

I recently bought a copy for my HS Spanish classroom library. The variety of stories offer students the opportunity to find a topic that appeals to them. The stories are short enough for students to read in one sitting. In one class a student always chooses this to read and I've seen him chuckle and smile so I know he is enjoying it. Plus he says so on his reading reflection slip! Great value for the price.

Excellent addition to my classroom library. My reluctant readers love the option to read short stories instead of committing to a longer title.

My students love the stories, they are short enough to read at a sitting and are comprehensible. The variety of topics is a plus.

This book has many short stories that are easy to read. They are also entertaining with a beginning, middle and end. I enjoyed her writing and hope she writes another book when she has the time. I read to maintain my skill level and this book is perfect for that purpose.--Este libro tiene muchas cuentos cortas que son fáciles de leer. También son entretenidos con un principio, medio y final. Disfruté de su escritura y espero que ella escriba otro libro cuando tenga el tiempo.
