Suzanne Perazzini has done all of the research on the LowFODMAP Diet for us! I know, the name is very odd. And it is not a "weight-loss" plan. It's a way of eating foods that do not cause those horrible IBS attacks.This book is designed to help us get through the day by having snacks available so we do not get hungry and eat something that will make us sick. I admire the concept!I would like to have had a shopping list for these recipes. Especially for the flour substitutes. These do not use gluten-free flour; but rather a combination of products that work for each recipe. So, a list showing, say, "Tapioca, Potato Starch" and such would have been useful. As it is , I am going to write one out for myself.Depending on your budget, you may end up substituting some ingredients. Perhaps you will use cheddar instead of Camembert.This book is for ppl who want to make it through the day with no IBS pain while enjoying mouth-watering snacks.

Love the recipes
Just a wonderful compilation of ideas for snacks and luncheon ideas. Suzanne is from New Zealand so some ingredients are unavailable to me in US. But I managed to work around those differences and have made some fun recipes. Easy recipes can be found, as well as difficult.

These recipes have so many ingredients and are really only interesting for people who cannot tolerate normal wheat flour. So much time necessary just for snacks, never mind the three main meals.

I like how the recipes are very easy to follow. Some cook books require an absurd amount of ingredients to make their dishes but this is good food with reasonable ingredients!

No Nutritional Information
These recipes look tempting, but they give no nutritional information whatsoever, not even the basics. Without knowing how many calories or how much fiber a recipe has, I'm not even going to try it.

I bought this book for my son & he has been making a number of the recepies from the book, which he has found has helped him in his balance to getting better.
