Cowboy Up Boxed Set: Cowboys of Ransom Creek and New Horizon Ranch

Her Cowboy HeroEven though this was a relatively short story, it was still long enough to get to know the main characters, Lori Calhoun and Trip Jensen, and also their neighbors, the Presley family. While Lori and Trip have known each other most of their lives, she thought he wasn't interested in her romantically. But will things change when her father dies and she returns to the ranch? Really enjoyed all of the characters. If you are looking for a quick romantic lead with plenty of cowboys, I would highly recommend this book.Her Texas CowboySo much to like about this book - the characters, the setting, family values, the humor, and the community of Mule Hollow. Even though Maddie's life is affected by having been abandoned as a baby, she still has plenty of spunk. Cliff is a professional bull rider who comes to town to visit his twin brother, Rafe, after having learned of their Dad's death. The first meeting between Maddie and Cliff has sparks flying as he rescues her from being stomped on by Buford, the bull she was trying to load into a trailer to take to auction for sale. The only question is - will they be able to resist the sparks or will they give in?

These were two good stories. The storyline was good in both, the characters were all good. I enjoyed reading these stories.

I love these modern cowboy romances. Thoroughly enjoyed all of them.

Great stories

The Rodeo Knights series is a group of clean contemporary , romance books written by various authors. All the books keep the same theme: rodeo, hunky cowboys, and the Knights brothers who own a security company dedicated to the rodeo’s safety and security.I like the way that Ms. Clopton, as well as the other authors, show the reader the life of the rodeo, the competitions, the dangerous of the sport, as well as the excitement in the arena.In THE COWBOY HERO, we have Trip Jensen and Lori Calhoun. They met when they were kids and developed a friendship that as they got older could have become romantic. But Trip, who was the son of the foreman of Lori’s Dad’s ranch , felt he would not be enough for her.They go their separate ways, both hurt. Upon Lori’s Dad’s death , she comes back to the ranch she had left years ago and Trip is now the foreman. Things get complicated when stock is stolen as well as cattle.All in all, a novella that will entertain you with the suspense, good and bad cowboys, and a HEA. I specially enjoyed getting a glimpse of the Presley brothers. If you have read any of the Windswept stories by this author, you met them in Lana Presley’s and Cam Sinclair’s book, With This Promise.I am off to read Her Texas Cowboy which I am sure will be just as enjoyable.I voluntarily read this book. HER COWBOY HEROAnother good Western by Debra Clopton! What did Lori Calhoun's father mean hiring the guy who rejected her in high school to be the ranch foreman? After her father dies, she is stuck running the ranch with Trip Jensen. Will they be able to work through problems with horse thieves and cattle rustlers and keep the ranch and their stock company safe? Can they ever admit that they really care for each other? I can't wait to read the rest of this series.Her Texas CowboyThis is a story of 2 good people with issues and attitudes to overcome. Maddie was a orphan raised in foster homes and felt she had to prove herself. Cliff, the professional bull rider, lost his mother at an early age and had difficulties with his father. With a little help from the Mule Hollow Matchmakers, and honest discussions between themselves, they finally came to care for each other.I wished their story had gone on a few more chapters.

If you love, adventure, romance, mystery and cowboys then you will love both of these books! The Ransom Creek cowboys are as handsome and as loyal as they come so begin a wonderful journey with this first book in the series.Join the adventure of the cowboys from Mule Hollow as they try to avoid the Matching Posses and this posses never fails.Debra Clopton is an excellent story teller who can weave humor, romance, suspense, and adventure into wonderful stories. If you have not read her books then this is the place to start!

Cowboy Up Boxed Set: Cowboys of Ransom Creek and New Horizon Ranch by Debra Clopton contains the first novels of each series. Debra Clopton does a wonderful job of connecting both series to Mule Hollow and the matchmakers. The cowboys try to not get into the sights of the matchmakers but they always fail at that. Debra Clopton is one of my favorite authors and a must read especially of you like cowboys and matchmakers and threw in small towns.
