This mouth guard has been a great experience for me in my Jiu-Jitsu hobby as it is light, doesn’t cause any lips to flare, and allows for easy speaking all while protecting the teeth and mouth.This is my second time purchasing this mouth guard as my dog destroyed my first one thinking it was a toy. The first one was difficult for me to grasp the directions and how to actually get the mouth guard to fit the way where it was both comfortable and protecting an area I felt safe. The most amazing feature of this mouth guard is that if you mess up, it can be easily reshaped using boiling water.After settling on one form, I began to notice that the hard shape and feature felt like it was trying to force my teeth to move a certain direction like an Invisalign, which concerned me as I was not trying to mess my teeth up over time. Now, after my dog eating my first one and trying my second one, I got used to forming it and actually got a form that I loved.Now, the mouth guard is still pretty stiff, different from all other mouth guards available on the market. However, I’m not complaining about it trying to shift my teeth and the fit is better than where I originally had it. Lesson for all that buy this, be patient and using scalding hot water.Ever since then, I have been loving my second experience and changed what would have been a 2 star review to 4 stars.

My daughter is in a roller derby minors league. This mouthguard was suggested by the coaches. It is definitely a step up from the mouthguards of the past. These mouthguards are hardcore. Seeing as how thick and hard they were, I did not think they would be comfortable, but my daughter said they sit snugly without bothering her at all. We did have to redo the fitting process twice, but it was as simple as putting back in warm water again and restarting the process. Glad we got these and they have held up for a full season and still going strong. Would definitely buy again if we needed to!

This mouthguard was used for our 14 year old wrestler. He says it's the most comfortable mouthguard he has used. It is easy to wear, even with braces. We followed the instructions for how to fit the mouthguard with braces that they have on the manufacturer's website. It took us a few tries to get it fit just right, but once fitted it was great. If you have braces be sure and put foil or wax over your brackets before you try and fit the mouthguard. They have a video on the website to guide you.I will say, this guard does only cover the upper teeth, so if your son/daughter is wrestling with upper and lower braces they may not be allowed to use this mouthguard during a tournament. Our son uses it mostly for practice as it doesn't protect his lower brackets which is mandatory at tournaments.The mouthguard fits so well he can talk and kinda eat (awkwardly at best). It's as good as the say!

As most reviews have stated once molded correctly this mouthpiece has an almost retainer like fit. You can talk, drink, and spar freely without ever having to take out the mouthpiece. I used this for BJJ training and really liked the fact I would breath freely without obstruction. However, my issues with the mouthpiece and the reason I don't give it 5 stars is:1) There is a slight learning curve to getting the mouth piece molded properly. This isn't a simple boil and bite sort of mouth piece. The instructions are pretty good but it's still easy to make mistake. Thankfully, the material is very forgiving and allows you to re-boil and start over till you get it right up to a certain point.2) The best benefits of this mouth piece are also part of it's weakness. The mouth piece is very thin and lightweight and I don't know if I would be comfortable taking a hard strike to mouth. BJJ training is one thing but wearing this while striking would be another story.I went with Damage Control mouth guards as my daily go to and haven't looked back.

I've used these for years doing no-gi grappling and kickboxing. I feel like I get a cardio advantage over other people with normal mouth guards. And a hydration advantage trying to grab a quick drink between rounds because I don't need to take my gloves off and on. I tell people to get them, but the fools say $25 is too much. I've never known anyone wearing one of these to have a dental injury at the MMA gym I attend.Six warning points. Until you get good at it, you will need to shape this thing a bunch of times until you get it just right. Second, don't store this in your car's middle coin/cup holder if you have coins in it, in the summer. The hot coins will melt the part they're touching, and you will need to boil and shape it again. No harm done, but it's a lesson learned. Third, since this is hard compared to a soft, cheap, bulky, suffocating Walmart mouth guard, your lips will need to get hardened where glove or forearm meets mouth meets mouth guard. Expect to taste some lip blood in the process if you spar and grapple hard. Fourth, unlike cheap mouth guards, you will not be able to spit this out if you get dominated against the wall, and you look for a cheap way out. Use movement or push your forehead into their chest. Fifth, as with all mouth guards, brush them every week. Whether it needs it or not. Since this is such a snug fit, if you store this in your car in the winter, and you have built up saliva goo in it, you will get ice cream brain freeze while your mouth warms it up. You deserve it for grappling with your team mates with a funky mouth guard. Finally, unlike a regular mouth guard, you will forget you still have it on after practice. If you aren't one of the top fighters in your gym, you might sound like a nerd hanging out after class when everyone else has theirs out. Embrace it, glance over at the mouth guard sitting on the seat, shelf, or floor, and tell them you don't want athletes foot and sweaty a$$ germs in your mouth. Then when you get to your car, put it in your nasty coin and cup holder. Or wrap it with a thin rag first.

Hatte bis heute noch nie besseren Zahnschutz. Dieser ist fast nicht unbemerkt zu benutzen, man kann damit reden und trinken ohne das er herausfällt. Außerdem hat man nicht das Gefühl ein Fremdkörper im Mund zu haben und Brechreiz zu bekommen. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Passt perfekt, kein Würgen, Schlucken, Trinken etc. Vereinfacht.Sprechen funktioniert wunderbar.Als Trainer find ich es fast verantwortungslos, wenn dieser Mundschutz von Mannschaftskameraden nicht getragen wird.Insbesondere die Kommunikation auf dem Platz wird verbessert.Ich würde allen nur noch diesen Mundschutz empfehlen.
